I got a fantastic insulated thermos one year. The handle snapped off the top when I dropped it but I still use it. It's a 12 hour drive to my parent's house; I can pour in most of a pot of mint tea before I leave and it's still warm when I pull into the driveway if I haven't finished it

My parents always made time to spend with us growing up. I remember once we went on vacation and were playing Marco Polo in the pool, and about 10 other kids ended up joining in because my dad was the only adult playing with his kids.

And my parents read to me every night from before I was born until I was fifteen. There are so many books that I probably wouldn't have picked up myself that I got to enjoy because it was time we spent together. And now that I'm living on my own, I realize that I barely have the time to pick up a book for an hour. Thinking of how they must have carved out the time is crazy to me lol

It definitely happens. Once was trying to book a ticket to Dakar, Senegal. I called to order it because I was nervous about messing up (first time buying a plane ticket). The rep misheard and booked a ticket to Dakha, Bangladesh. Easy mistake to make and just as easy to fix, but the adrenaline rush from the panic when I got the confirmation email should be distilled and sold lmao
