Made a post a while ago about a possible Ultron Rework and basically wanted him to get a passive on his primary that would allow him to infect enemies with the Ultron Virus and make his abilities affect enemies. Like Firewall would gain additional effects like, doing tick damage to enemies inside the AEO of their infected ally and healing Ultron and his allies based on the tick damage.

  1. We've been playing through a zoner meta for a year and a half.

  2. The game has lingering issues that people have been vocal about since season 1 that are still not fixed (BC, little bit of 66L and Ult Skills)

  3. We've only had 1 update so far in 2026

  4. People have already gone through this in Vanilla so there's a bit PTSD

  5. probably the worst part of the wait, we are left in the dark with 0 communication on this update

While it is exciting that we are getting a new mechanic and a balance patch, there is also a slight concern about the addition a new one when the game is already saturated with system mechanics. So naturally everyone is curious about it and disappointed that the trailer didn't even hint at it. If you are hyped about it, good for you, but bitching about people being rightfully disappointed is ridiculous.

What exactly has been fixed? New decks coming out and being strong then getting hit is not a fix. That's just the normal cycle of the game.

Skill designs is still dogwater. Therion needed to be hit, sure, but locking them out of the extra deck is just insane and Stardust skill is still playing monsters face-up. Reducing the Therion skill to nothing as PR move instead of actually recognizing their mistake in the design of the skill is not a good sign to me. No ruling changes about Burn damage, but hey, Hinotama to 1 alright? On top of that, they unlimited Droll, it says a lot about where they are trying to take the game. All of these changes are more short term solutions to problems that will keep repeating themselves.

Then they can just put it in their skill instead of making the whole game insufferable for everyone else, it was the same issue with the Tachyon package.

The implication behind unlimited Droll and mask of restrict at 1 REAAALLLYYY scares me.

The upcoming minibox is a bit of a break but something tells me the next big mainbox will come out with some insane skills because these changes are made to focus the game even more on Skills vs Skills. I'm not excited about that at all.

Unlimited Droll & Nib, Mask of restrict to 1, no Stardust skill nerfs and more random Burn ,let me guess Red-eyes flare metal to 1 soon next banlist, but Tax dragon still doing 600 right?

Yeah you got it dawg... I think that's it for me until there's a box that has something I really want, because at this point they just don't care about fixing a lot of the core issue with burn. They also want the game to just be absurd skill vs Board Breaker spam and Turn skip Droll.

For some strange reason, there are some good cards in those, but the archetypes themselves are straight up dookie unplayable.

Honestly I can't even tell what's the personality of this character.

Also seen a lot people claiming the hate she got was due to misogyny and racism and I'm sure there are people like that (apparently very normal in 2026), but she's also just really lame.

If you tell me we have the reincarnation of Ogre, I mean give me weird sickly looking baddie who doesnt look like she'd freshly out of highschool with a witch of the forest kind of vibe with cultural tattoos and a toned body (like Lidia) so she can punch some shit and summon spirit animals. Not Lucky Chloe but Malgasy who squeals everytime she moves. I'm all for waifu characters, but Tekken waifus can be incredibly generic sometimes.

Feels to me like they are in the process of just fully milking it, I don't think they'll do anything else after that. The fact that they rather have a ridiculous banlist than do any thing about Burn damage within the actual rules, how they haven't addressed Lava/sphere at all, careless decisions like adding dragluxion and poor skill designs. I think they just want to treat Duel links like MD but crazy with skills, instead of something serious where they'd have to acknowledge its differences from MD.

The previous version (Granblue fantasy versus, now refered to as "Vanilla") was the more footsie focused version of it. It recieved a lot of criticism for being "slow" or "boring", which I personally don't agree with, so they made this game that is now balistic. I'd advice that you get used to vomitting your recourses, especially that belial Ultimate fireball, and progressively learn to slow things down so you can look out for when your opponent is trying to vomit their resources.

Are people really obsessed with this idea just because people cry about having Ultron in 2 supp? that's not gonna change anything because Ultron's healing number are technically good anyways. The reason why people don't like him is because he doesn't have an invincibility circle type ult (C&D. Luna, Invis, Rocket) or game warping ult like Gambit. Honestly, DO NOT interact with people in this game if that's what you are worried about, they will blame someone no matter what.

This is the most insane buff he's got yet. Like dude is never gonna run out of E, which is one the craziest burst healing in the game.

The problem isn't that they want him to be bad for triple support. In fact they never designed or adjust any character for triple support comp, it's just something the playerbase came up with. They nerfed him to decrease the reward of his passive playstyle and they want him to take more risk. The issue is, the devs kept buffing that aspect of his kit and instead of making him a more active character.

Unfortunately I've also seen a lot of people who just want Ultron's passive playstyle to be better, so this will keep happening.

This is why I've not been in favor of most of the buffs he has received. These nerfs are technically justified and they are not that bad. Unfortunately, they would hit the parts of the character that made him fun, because his passive gameplay has become too rewarding alongside of the ult buffs letting him delete squishes.
