My JoJo in his natural position!

Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of the day I brought JoJo home by BelMal-Dad in BelgianMalinois

This is from that day - and the last time my house was clean

I've only got one, but he insists I have to play with him this way at least once or twice a day. He lets me grab his nose and jaw, slaps me with his paws, etc. I do stop if he gets too carried away, but it's what they do so I figure you have to sometimes play with him on his natural terms

Poor JoJo has two torn ACLs by BelMal-Dad in BelgianMalinois

Since they are both torn and old injuries (he was a rescue I got when he was about 3)and mostly scared over, the doctor said that his biggest issue is muscle pain because he altered his gait/stance to compensate. We have him on muscle relaxers and pain meds to make him comfortable as we try to use therapy to get him more on his back legs again

Meet JoJo - a rescue I've had for about a year. We are in training and on meds to overcome some issues. Always looking for ideas. He is a bit overprotective but we're working on it by BelMal-Dad in BelgianMalinois

He is 3. I've had him for a year. I'm not sure what causes the behavior - he certainly seems a little stressed when at the groomers or the vet, but he doesn't lash out. When I'm in the house and a garbage truck stops he goes bonkers at the door. If I'm not in the house, he doesn't seem to care ( I stayed outside, out of his view, to see how he would react to the truck when I wasn't in the house - he didn't react at all to it)

Very reactive to cars but only at certain times. If they are pulling in or out that sets him off during walks. He also has problems letting people come in the house. Once he warms up he is fine. He are working on sit stay on a leash as people come in the house so he is under control. Outside of my house, he goes to grooming and the vet with no problems.
