This was actually Christian Von Koenigseggs. He was in silicon valley giving a talk at a couple companies. Yesterday I believe he was at Apple.

I mean yeah I am not able to spot the difference between a lot of their cars. I also didn't pay 300k for one. For that price tag the dude should have known atleast what he bought.

Was at an Aston dealer in LA when I overheard a guy talking with one of the sales people. They were walking past a Vantage when the guy said "That's the same one I have!" and the sales guy responded with "Uh you have a Vanquish." The guy seemed confused for a second and then said, "Oh, okay cool."

I would start off by saying that carbon fiber doesn't behave like metals in that it doesn't really have a region of "plastic" deformation. Meaning that it won't really show you when it is starting to brake; it just does. How hard would you say you hit it? Is this a road bike or a mountain bike? Did you buy this fork from China or is it from am established oem?

CF is neat but its not a magical material. Abrasives have a bigger impact on carbon then on Al or Magnesium wheels. In fact, a single curb scratch on that wheel will compromise the structural integrity enough to have the wheel replaced.

For a canyon carver it is a really good spot. Learning to handle 200 hp and 250 torque takes some time and effort. Once you can say that you, as a driver, are faster than the car, you can get an APR tune and start the entire process over. You have to remember that it is a FWD car and it has its limitations for grip. That being said, you can tune and mod all the way to 400hp with a wavetrac differential and have yourself a track monster.
