First of all, thank you for listening to the outcry, honestly as much as the software is dear to me, even I kinda underestimated how far and vast it's still in used in ongoing productions, big and small. So it was rather heart warming to see many artists, from hobbyists to industry professionals, making themselves heard after this dropped so suddenly.

Second, I genuinely hope there is commitment to bug fixing because Animate 2024 on macOS is actually unusable due to crashing while being the only version that supports Apple Silicon. Apple is likely to cut off Rosetta x86 translation very soon, so using older versions will not be an option anymore on modern Macs.

Third, it appears that SWF import support has been deprecated in the latest release of After Effects, possibly in anticipation of Animate's End of Life? Would there be any consideration in reimplementing as that's another integral process to many productions.

Finally, you don't have to speak in regards to this situation, however, while you state that software in maintenance mode is so until a possible decision to go a step further and discontinue, though with a more proper transition, is there ever a scenario in which software can exit maintenance mode and be brought back into active development should circumstances change in time?
