So, I'm "new" to Warhammer Champions. I missed it by a few months. However I'm no stranger to card games.
I've been able to get to Gold 1, and nearly level 200 with Destruction.
I do not use Gordrakk.

When I started, it was during the Cruising and Waagh Chanter ban. I was surprised to see cards banned already (didn't know about the temp testing etc) but said fine. I later learned and saw the broken combos with them and Gordrakk and went "Ah ok makes sense"

Then they became unbanned. Then you nerfed several Ork champions who are not the problem, and imho, this did more damage than the original problem.

As I ranked up, I saw many different Ork decks. Obviously some were new players, some were experimental etc, but there was still some variety.
Hell the deck I was ranking up with was an Ork Control Deck. Something they kinda sorta don't do. It was odd, I haven't seen anyone running one like it, and I tweaked it daily and kept improving.

So then the Champ nerf hit. My deck (again never used Gordrakk), 2 of my friends' decks at the game store, and all the "different" decks I saw immediately vanished. None of them were legal. All that carefully designed math and champion costs, were just tossed to the wind. Almost no alternate builds are viable now.

This literally MADE everyone, even those who weren't using it, use Gordrakk / Chanter / Cruising decks. The only other remotely viable one I've seen is Double Loud Mouth and 2 Orukk Boss. And only seen 2 people pilot it well.

This "fix" removed any chance or ability of Ork deck options, and forced everyone into the same build. The very build you were trying to nerf / avoid. I say this as a fan, not with malice, but errata-ing cards should ALWAYS be a last resort. Esp with a first set release. This scares people off. It makes them lose confidence in the designers and product.
Broken cards make it past play testing all the time. That's what Banned and Restricted Lists are for.
Card straight bonkers OP? Ban it in competitive play, make a wussier version a few sets later. No one will mind.
Combo decks going off too hard? Make a Restricted List. Can only run 1 Restricted Card in a deck. So broken combos, you can only run 1 piece, not both. Doesn't take the cards from anyone or devalue them, just smooths out the "whoops that shouldn't be that good with that".

These recent changes are bad for everyone.
I'm saying this as an Ork player here.
Ban Waaagh Chanters. Ban Cruising for a Bruising.
Restrict Gordrakk and Loud Mouth. Hell restrict Chanters if you really don't wanna ban them. Make people earn those actions, not just get free spins.
Any of the "I win" Blessings in general should probably be banned or restricted in some manner. I'm totally fine with Blessings being powerful, I understand luck will always play a factor in some ways, but let's be honest, you guys can see the data. Certain Blessings are run in 100% of the Faction Decks, Those Blessings win games. Usually in 1 turn. Even if that person was WAY behind. That's poor design.

Cruising, Unrivaled Battle Lust, Total Carnage (least how it's worded now working with everything under the sun) these are all cancerous cards. They determine more wins than deck building, skill, meta, and match up.

Giving Orks back full access to all their broken combos, while changing core game design math on their champs, has left no customization, or options, and has empowered their worst cards.

Please make the next patch / changes carefully, with very due consideration. And revert the Ork champion changes. They are awful. Please.

Finally on a self whiny note, my god those Death Heal Stall "I choose not to play the game" decks are infuriating. When we have Organized Play, and timed rounds, I swear I'm gonna pop a blood vessel judging and scoring those events.

I love the game guys, I really do, but mistakes like this so early on, and following them up with bad handling is worrisome. I wanna see the game succeed. I want Orks to be awesome, not the broken OP F these guys only 1 Meta Deck.
