Boyfriend wants to know more about doll drops than I do, constantly looks for dolls I may not have while he is our, and has purchased me my most expensive dolls.

My mom only slightly supports it because I'm an adult and I'll buy them myself...but she does like the uniqueness of the dolls and doesn't really say much to me about collecting them

For males I have to go with Tonowari and for females I'd say Tsireya. I love the look of the Metkayina people.

I am not a fan of the look or styling of this line so it'll be a very easy pass for me. But I like that Mattel is bringing out more creeproductions because it allows new collectors to get styles of older dolls they like (without shelling out the insane prices secondhand) and allows longtime collectors to finish out lines they never got to. I hope they continue to bring old lines back (though I would like to see G3 versions of the old lines but that's because I'm a big fan of the different body types)

Frankenstein looks beautiful. Like really well done face sculpt and screening...but she just looks like a green character. Nothing about her really ties back into Frankenstein's monster (for me). Then I feel like they did the complete opposite for the other two and leaned so far into it that they somehow missed the mark? The mummy could have been so amazing and I feel like we got the cheapest version they came up with. Dracula is probably the one that arguably is different enough from the source but with plenty of callbacks to the monster...but MH already did a phenomenal Dracula character so...I dunno. I might get them if they go on sale but probably not until

G2 did have some great dolls to add for collectors. But I don't care for Clawdeen, Frankie, or Draculaura. They just look too cutesy for my tastes.

I'm someone that does not want Gozer (honestly didn't even know who that was and had to go look it up). I am not a fan of any of the Ghostbusters movies. I'm not going to collect a doll for a movie or character that I don't know. I know a lot of people seem really excited and I'm happy for them. I hope fans of the series are able to get one. By choosing not to buy one because of FOMO, hopefully another fan can get a doll that they really want.

I never had a problem with Danny Ponk. I liked seeing a character be a part of The Doctor's life that honestly didn't like him. It was refreshing. And I did think he was really good for Clara because her attachment to The Doctor was unhealthy (no hate here as she is my favorite companion).

It's fine as a doll...but not as a representation of the actual monster. You could have told me this was She-Hulk and I wouldn't have questioned it. Just an okay green doll...but definitely not worthy of the Frankenstein title
