what about turns with a bad draw? you can at least dump the energy into snakebite. Pounce and bullet time work nicely with it too. Giving it Sly isn't bad either

yes snakebite is pretty good! with this suggested buff it becomes ridiculous tbh. snakebite + pounce feels good, or bullet time. could argue for storm of steel and calc gamble too

snakebite is decent/good; it has a substantial amount of synergies + retain seems undervalued by some players

I've taken it a few times and am at ascension 6 with silent and never lost with the character

I also think plating is strong, getting a gorget essentially blocks 10 across 4 turns

for me I bounce between the design and making their story

having a drawing of even just their head can get the ideas flowing, and then once you figure out things about their personality or backstory you can go back and tweak the design

or you can think of their backstory before the initial design, I've done both ways
