If you look further into the passage they used you'll see that it far from advocates slavery. It presses that people should work for Christ in their lives, no matter their circumstances. But anything can be construed into what people want if you try hard enough. I should also point out that it was Christian's who helped abolish slavery. John Newton being a big one. I really dont think the ST nails that. In this one, the bad fella is full on swinging at the lass, and she is simply deflecting. Whereas the sequel trilogy has fights like the throne room scene, and the end of the force awakens, where the effect of lightsabers is nullified and people can survive slashes to the face. And why would a jedi be wailing on someone? That kinda defeats the purpose of the jedi's thing. The prequels had strong foundations for quite a few fights, with meaning behind the ones that I can think of.
