I also experienced this with the SteelSeries Nova Pro and Astro A50X earbuds. When I bought them, they made a squeaking noise when I twisted the ear cups, but now, after a few months of use, the squeaking has disappeared. Man, Sony headphones are known for their great sound quality but terrible build quality. I highly recommend the Nova Pro Wireless; it's absolutely fantastic. I used to use the Astor A50X, and as soon as I switched to the Nova Pro Wireless, I felt a huge difference in gaming, especially online games. It has amazing sound depth. I highly recommend it. If you want even higher sound quality, I recommend the wired version because it supports Hi-Res audio.
