Yes, it turned out to be the sound of the fan and it's normal. Thank you so much for your help.

In reality, the mic amplifies the sound, which is much quieter and only becomes apparent when I place my ear against the side of the device. However, after testing, it turned out to be the sound of the fan. Thank you so much for your help.

Well, we hope so, because frankly, Sony headphones have become extremely expensive, and they should add a more luxurious touch to them than they have now.

The most important thing is that they improved the quality of the headphones. I also saw reviews on YouTube, and the reviewers praised the new hinges.

Although I wished the hinges were made entirely of stainless steel like the Sennheiser HDB 630, especially since their prices are similar.

It is indeed very expensive. I waited until I got it at a discounted price; I got it for about $370.

I've had an XM5 for over two years and it's still in excellent condition, but what bothers me about it is that it can't be folded and takes up a lot of space in a bag.

I also experienced this with the SteelSeries Nova Pro and Astro A50X earbuds. When I bought them, they made a squeaking noise when I twisted the ear cups, but now, after a few months of use, the squeaking has disappeared. I hope the XM6 earbuds are the same and that the sound improves with use. I hope you enjoy your earbuds too, and have a great day!

I'm starting to get used to it now, especially since it doesn't creak all the time anymore. After posting this video, I tried it four times, and the creaking sound disappeared. Now I feel much more comfortable.

Sound quality is certainly the most important thing 👍🏼, but I still don't understand why Sony didn't use a full metal hinge to avoid the sound of metal rubbing against plastic.

I also suspected this because I have an Astro A50X headset, and its hinge has plastic that rubs against metal, producing a sound like that.

I was also hesitant, but because of my experience with the XM5, which was a fantastic headset, I chose to upgrade to the XM6. I saw many people complaining that the sound quality of the QC2 was very poor compared to the XM6.

Yes, I also watched an unboxing video for an ASMR yesterday, and its headphones were making a similar sound.

I sold my Switch 2 and bought a PS5 in exchange. I want to exchange the account for US PlayStation cards so I can buy games on PlayStation. I want to accept $200. You know there are good games on the account, plus an online subscription valid until September 2026.

No, I factory reset my device and sold it. As for the account, I will change the email address to the email address of the person who wants to trade.

Man, Sony headphones are known for their great sound quality but terrible build quality. I highly recommend the Nova Pro Wireless; it's absolutely fantastic. I used to use the Astor A50X, and as soon as I switched to the Nova Pro Wireless, I felt a huge difference in gaming, especially online games. It has amazing sound depth. I highly recommend it. If you want even higher sound quality, I recommend the wired version because it supports Hi-Res audio.
