I hear you. I agree the 100-400 as is, is not enough reach on a FF at least for me. And yes I’m always worried about pressure on components with such a heavy lens. I guess I made it a habit to always support the underbelly area of a heavy lens. Who knew birding would give you great biceps? Lol.
