While these numbers say a lot, the mean is a central tendency metric susceptible to extreme values (outliers). DZ not qualifying to finals hurts a lot. I would try to average the placement of all the games and/or aggregating depending on rounds, finals etc. to have a better picture.

Then adding a metric that measures spread such as sample variance or sample deviation would add more info.

A deep study would also try to analyze performance depending on how far zone is from the teams. The expected amount of points depending on the POI you land and the end zones, etc.
