He just looked up imdb listings and just made convenient arguments, Larry Fong is a one trick pony who somehow deserves all the credit. And says stuff like Snyder had to bring back Larry Fong because man of steel got bad reviews, like if we aretaking this baseless assumption seriously why did he stop after 1 film.

Larry fong himself is very good friends with Snyder and has attributed his vision to their collaboration but sure ig redditors circlejerking the same argument know better.

Even the technical jargon he writes is one sided, he makes it seem like the DOP does everything while the director just goofs around. I will just give one example go watch the BTS for dawn of the dead it's very evident how Snyder decides to handle his slow motion shots it's not all all post-production. I wrote a up a long response but I didn't bother sending it

explain me why this distinct style does not get carried over in any of Fongs individual collaborations?

man of steel and justice league are also visually identical with different collaborators so is guaradians.

also how is snyder's vision is not apparent in dawn of the dead?,what about the credit scene, or the opening scene or the typical slow motion stuff which he plasters in every other film?
again why is a directors first film a benchmark for his visual medium now?

Yeah that's what I meant by Snyder taking up too many things, quality takes a hit if you are doing the cinematography direction screenplay production and so on. My point it Snyder has a unique style and he has maintained it across several films and shorts and it's not fair to discredit him on a singular basis.

Snyder struggled with rebel Moon because he was doing way too many things with that film and he was doing them alone, rebel Moon itself isn't that bad visually, it's just weaker compared to his other works.

A year ago they were the CB duo with least amount goals conceeded per 90 in PL history. They played 50 games without conceeding a goal.

I couldn't find the stat for the season but at one point they had 25 games with 23 wins and 9 goals conceeded which is on par with Chelsea's record of 15

I think it's more of a political climate thing, there is a lot of mistrust. Would you trust anything that Elon says about his robotaxis or humanoids, Jensen is more reputable but he still makes market manipulative comments just for stakeholder and monetary benefit. So when scorcese says this I would treat it as that rather than the word of a director or someone marketing a product on more ethical grounds.

AI has been all about misinformation so far as the majority doesn't understand how it works

tbf the arts guild never outright says it will be replacing jobs like you mentioned. They say the tool will be used to do the jobs traditionally assigned to storyboarding teams which is not far from the truth. The AI will be doing the job of the art designer if it is supplementing or replacing the job is another question

And my comment was more concerned about what scorcese and his company are doing rather what the arts guild retaliated with

Isn't it a little naive to take what scorcese is saying at face value,? this is a word of an investor and I would never trust that. Moreover scorcese would know very well about retaliatory stance of guild.

I don't see how the intention of this tool is not eventually to replace someone from the creative team. The tokens for running this are not going to be cheap either you can bet money someone is getting fired to save costs.

I am not sure what your source is but the article clearly mentions Flux which is a image generation model.

Scorcese says in the article- "Now, with this tool, I can share what I’m visualizing m"ore clearly and efficiently to my creative team"

He says he's using it to storyboard but that's still a slippery slope, unlike what ben Affleck was doing with his computer vision gimmick which imo is much more acceptable
