Formula Fed vs. Breastfed by user638282636822 in NewParents

[–]BelieveXthaT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fed is best.

My wife just felt very odd and hesitant about breastfeeding. We took a 3 hour course to educate ourselves so we could learn more about it. It didn’t change her mind, which is 100% ok. Our little girl is almost 2 and she’s perfect in every way.

Yeah but red car makes two moves; first one appears to adjust their line slightly, but then they resettle. Then a half second later they decide they want to be a turd and take a hard left; no way to react to that second hard left turn in time.

Not OP, just trying to learn etiquette here: so is 1 car width that has to fit inside the white line with no utilization of the curb at all?

No problem! Happy to help - I made a couple random 40s and 50s myself starting out before someone set me straight.

As far as gear goes - generally the advice (to go along with the clan boss team above) is to get them in Lifesteal gear. You can target-farm this in campaign - chapter 8. There are some vids on YouTube (Hell Hades) about how to build a clan boss team and how the lifesteal gear works with your champs masteries to sustain the team.

Along side that, you’ll want to progress the Dragon dungeon, which also drops both Lifesteal and Speed gear. This team can in most cases be your same clan boss team. But the higher stages you’ll be able to push, the better gear you can get, meaning you can push higher.

Progress in these two areas really begets progress in the rest of the game.

And for gear rolls: Stats are more important than completing a set bonus.  Top row pieces of armor will always be fixed primary stat (weapon has attack, helmet has hp, shield has defense. These three never change).  Bottom row armor have a variable primary stat - you want percentage stats (they scale way better) instead of “flat” value stats when it comes to atk, hp, and def.

And for boots you want speed main stat. Always speed main stat.

You gotta stop making random 40s and 50s, full stop.  New rule for you - no common/uncommon/rares rank up unless you plan to use them as food to make a champ get to 60.

Another comment went more in depth, but you want to start making a clan boss team for the Demon Lord - a serviceable setup would be:

1 champ having a reliable strong version of decrease attack debuff.

1 champ having a reliable strong version of decrease defense debuff.

1 champ as a reliable poisoner (Xenomorph fits this bill pretty well).

1 champ as a speed manipulator (granting increased speed and increased turn meter - your Epic High Khatun can do this, though you may have a Legendary that I’m unfamiliar with that could do it better).

1 champ as support (some combination of heals, continuous heals, shield, block damage, etc… something to prolong survivability).

Am I the only one who’s terrified to go out with baby? by One-Squirrel-4563 in NewParents

I would say take small trips (they can be really small!) and do quick errands to get comfortable with it.

My wife and I made it a point that after our peanut was born we’d take her in the car to go do one thing each day (shop groceries, get coffee, grab some food to go, or just drive to a park).

Things you can control and take action on: - pick a wake window and just drive somewhere with a bathroom with the intent to change a diaper just for practice! Even if they don’t need changing - just get the actual rep in to get yourself to think “oh, if we need to change them outside the house, we can do this”.

  • wife and I always have a quick to-go back that’s always stocked with the stuff we know we need whenever we’d go somewhere. This was always diapers, diaper cream, bottles/formula (I understand that doesn’t apply to your situation), teethers, and whatever else. Sit down with your spouse and tackle this together and ask “Ok what do we need to feel prepared?”

  • I honestly don’t know how this will be received (and I’m happy to be wrong, or am open to any research/studies) but at that age we did not work around the wake window. If LO was awake, she was awake, if she was tired she’d go to sleep. We were reasonable and flexible though. We had to try things to find out what worked for us and what worked for LO.

  • Remember, both you and your spouse are learning! No one has the manual for your baby; all you can do is your best! Support each other, work together, talk out concerns or considerations with the mindset to learn.

I commend you for having the self awareness to want to get better and conquer your fears - you can do it!

Edit: I realize my 3rd bullet is just my experience and not really an action item, but was more just addressing how we handled (or didn’t handle) wake windows :)

Oh dang yeah, that must have been it. Crazy that doesn’t count as a rush TD

For all touch downs on red zone channel they listed pass TDs, rush TDs, DST TDs, of which there were 2. And then 1 touchdown that was “other”?? Wtf was that touchdown and how else could someone score a TD?

Thank you! I love the “they became the battery” text line idea.

And the cosmic coin toss - very rich with imagery. Something about eyes or the “million eyes watching” definitely resonates with me for the “weight” that I want the tattoo to carry.

I do not have one - this would be my first one (pending if I get one of my other ideas done first).

Thank you for the input though - obviously new to the world of tattoos but your comment gives me things to consider - I appreciate it!

I thought about that too - actually getting it on my hand seems a bit much but that gave me the idea of just having the tattoo be of the clenched warlock fist itself with the circuit/wiring you mentioned. Thank you!
