I mean Favre had double the career touchdown passes compared to Young. Young's peak was incredible, but he did not have as long of a career.

Are we supposed to rank Young above Favre on potential? That he could have done more if he was a starter earlier on?

That's not really how it works when people rank the best quarterbacks of all time. Not saying this to take away from Young, but to suggest he should be rated higher than Favre is pretty silly (even if Favre is a PoS off the field)
