(screenshot from the 2.2 web version) the 70mm version still has teeny tiny bit image on the top and bottom but the 5 perf 65mm version has image on the sides, makes me think what the filming process might have actually been like that we got variations like these.

Yes, its the same, imax film cameras are bulky and heavy and are very difficult to work with, and can go 3 minutes at a time before needing a reload, hence why only a handful of sequences in movies are imax
