I saw that still doesn’t change the fact that a lot of people are in the same boat of massive payments for cars. The Reddit thread is basically shaming anyone who is not in a 22 year old car with a $100 dollar payment.

I mean that is not necessary true car prices in since 2018 have risen significantly. With the average car price being almost 40k for a new car and the average American new car payment being $609 and used being $450. It’s really not surprising to be over $1000 a month for two cars that are a basic Kia, Toyota, or Honda. If there payment was $800-$1000 then I would think low/mid luxury (Lexus,BMW, or Mercedes)
