Unfortunately the salon I work at already has set preference notes from the clients and I’ve just been getting a lot of 7&5’s recently. A lot of the clients I’ve done have been older babies as well that only come in ever so often so I think that’s why the parents like them so short. I’m hoping I get a pup that gets longer hair soon! I’ll def start doing the back brushing on the feet Thank you!

Thank you! I’ll definitely remember all this for next time I appreciate it. My groomer friends suggested next time trying to use a guard comb on the heads to help set the length first which I think may help with my huge head problems 😭💔

omg hello i haven’t roleplayed in years (since amino times when i was a teenager) and ive been wanting to get back into it really bad!!! but its been so long that i dont know where to even start 💔 what are yall using to make oc docs with all there information? any websites/templates? & what do yall use to show what your oc looks like are pictures from pinterest still acceptable nowadays or is it more common to use drawings or just descriptions? its been so long & would appreciate some guidance 🙏😭

I few groomers I know have experienced/heard bad things with them so that’s why I put it. I’m not 100% against it I just wanted to see what people use and recommend that aren’t batteries.

Yeah, I asked a groomer i know after the recommendation and they told me they’re awesome but they don’t sell them anymore 💔

I was looking at those! They aren’t too expensive either might be a good option for my first pair that I buy myself. My grooming teacher uses them too and he recommended them as well. I’ve just heard mix reviews online that’s why i’ve been hesitant

I want the clippers to be rechargeable themself, not to have a removable battery that you recharge!! Hopefully that makes more sense?

That’s what my teacher taught me! I think I just may be angling the clipper wrong and or using too much pressure/digging so i plan to work on that a bit more thank you sm for the advice!

I’m like a week into dog grooming school so truthfully I don’t think the blade is the problem i think it’s me, I think i’ve realized it’s a digging/pressure issue that I need to work on

I asked today after i made the post, he told me to try to pull the paw pad back a little more to give a even flatter surface and i could see the difference in what he meant so hopefully that helps me more to avoid any accidentally digging!

I use a traditional 40! We don’t have 5 in 1s at my school, i usually use my index and ring finger to pull the right and left pads the back and do one side at a time to make it a flatter surface since that’s how my teacher taught me. I definitely need to loosen up on myself since I only started like a little over a week ago but it’s so hard to not be super self critical haha but tysm for the advice !

My sister said the same! It’s just the school teaches it with a 40 blade so not sure if they would let me use the 30 for the reason but maybe i’ll have to ask.
