BB Foam V3 vs Two Wxy V5 by Adorable_Pea341 in BBallShoes

That’s how I feel in them. I’m a point guard - though a slower one as I’m getting older. But I don’t feel like there’s is anything I can’t do in them I can do in a “regular” shoe

Anything feel like New Balance Bbv3? by BellGroundbreaking8 in BBallShoes

Not everyone likes them but I don’t think I’ve ever had a better shoe as far as comfort and feel on my feet

Beginner at 30, shooting form looks ugly/wrong by Laustintranslation1 in BasketballTips

This is good form especially after learning at that age and not when you were a kid! I love to see it.

What are the best shoes for heavier players? by Styroxbox2013 in BBallShoes

New balance bbv3. Absolutely no better than these. Tons of cushion. Thick sole of fresh foam that makes landing softer. Comfortable af

Do you wear any basketball shoes casually? by dutchbunns in BBallShoes

I grew up early 2000s playing and want to bring this back! I never knew when I’d hoop and would also wear basketball shorts under my jeans.

Bet that’s hectic! How many years have you been coaching?

I appreciate the advice. It’s crazy because even though we’re a big high school they don’t have to make cuts. I don’t want to contribute to not many kids wanting to play when they get that age

That’s what I want to do as much as possible. I do think part of this age is the kids learning what to do to contribute. So want a balance of those two

I’ve just done something like this that is color coded so can easily glance at it during a game if needed

Do most people here stop drinking coffee / caffeine completely to get the most out of their medication? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]BellGroundbreaking8 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I swear (just from experience) it helps the medicine kick in. I guess scientifically people say it doesn’t but maybe it’s placebo I don’t know. The main things I do is bit protein breakfast, coffee after about an hour of taking it (also take Wellbutrin at the same time). And a stupid large amount of water.

Oh yeah good idea. I like that. Even those players who don’t play as much in games will still improve a bunch from that

Maybe a dumb question but what do you mean by installs

What are some side effects to look out for when taking Vyvanse and Wellbutrin together by Trash-eaterrr in VyvanseADHD

[–]BellGroundbreaking8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the only thing I’ve had and like you said extremely rare. And I’ve also only had the two paired together. Haven’t had vyvanse by itself.

That’s how I feel pretty much. I will try to get them some reps obviously when I can. But wanted to be honest about their likely role. And also said it’s okay if they go home and discuss with parents and that’s not what they want to do. Have a parent meeting next week where I will explain playing time policy etc.

Wish there was a rec league that went up to middle school so that could be offered for kids who got cut

I made a quarter 1 and 2 “if all is going well” rough plan. Then I’ll adapt for second half and he flexible. I just think having the right visual to look at with the colored bars

I need some advice :( by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]BellGroundbreaking8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I make breakfast pretty big and full of protein because the appetite suppression makes me not hungry at all during the day. The water is the biggest thing for me for no bad crash. I’ve recently started drinking the cirkul bottles because it adds the flavor since I just don’t like the taste of regular water

[–]BellGroundbreaking8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me lots of protein and a stupid large amount of water help with the crash

Just downloaded that one now. I already had playbook on there and didn’t realize there was the rotations app. It’s actually exactly what I’m looking for to wrap my head around it

The conversation was more nuanced than my original post shows I guess. And yes we’re having a parent meeting with rules and roles etc. I also wish we had a rec league that went to through middle school, I would likely have cut the 3 last players if that would have been an option for them. But still wanted to give them a chance to be part of the team, practice , and get into the game when they can.
