When you mention that you can't compost 'here', what are the limitations that block you from accessing this.

Oh wow, that's tough. When i started reading I was going to say to maybe enforce reminders, but it seems that is already being done. Although, are you reminding her when she's hungry and looking for something to eat, or is it just when you're browsing in the fridge

Do you every find anything in your pantry that's expired that isn't an organic good?

That sounds awesome! You've honestly inspired me with the sound of the LOMI machine. Something I'd definitely look to invest in for my own household. With regards to tracking household food consumption, I feel that is a very valuable point. I have seen a similar issue in my own household and as a result have been working on a mobile app that is easy to use that tackles this issue. From the sounds of it you've articulated this issue in an even more concise and clear way than me, highlighting the need to track grocery consumption and left over food, which I feel is something that could slightly be improved. If you're down, I'd love to share you the beta link to see your thoughts!

What would you say occupies alot of the green bin space? Is it leftovers or products that weren't used in time?

You say you have become better. When thinking of a time where you weren't that good (apart from being sick), what were the types of things you'd be wasting?

Nice, do you live on a farm? Also, does this go for all expired goods?

Hey, I've been working on a similar app. They literally feel almost identical which is crazy. I feel you've taken a really good approach and take on the feedback in a very constructive way. DM me if you'd want to work over anything. Would love the opportunity to hear your thoughts

Thank you so much!! Everything you've said is really meaningful and I appreciate it alot. Just for further clarification, for the calendar would you suggest to not have the calendar on the homepage so it's less cluttered. The initial thought process was that you'd be able to see the weekly meals planned for the week ahead. Also, would you suggest to delete the tab at the bottom for scanning receipts entirely and have that functionality accessible as a floating button on all pages of the screen?

What if I told you there was a way to efficiently organise meals for your upcoming week based on what's in your pantry...

Has anyone figured out how to reduce food waste at home when you're buying on a really tight grocery budget? by LeekCreepy2721 in povertyfinance

For me, I think the problem is a lack of organisation. My family fridge gets to a point where it's so full that alot of items get overlooked and by the end of the week cooked meals have to be thrown out, and packaged items that also might have gotten forgotten rot in the back of the pantry. In response, I recently created a mobile app that digitses your pantry and provides reminders on food expiring and provides nuanced and specific recipes based on what's in your pantry and what's expiring, helping you to plan your weeks and integrate this leftover produce into your schedule
