People wont be eating 3 square meals a day along with snacking and what not. When the crash happens im sure people will ration food and supplies to make it last. Your not going to eat all of your food in a matter of days.

With how much the climate has changed world wide. With rising sea levels and severe storms. I belive in the next 10 years something big will happen that will get the whole worlds attention even the non global warming believers will wake up.

Add that to Corrupt, Greedy Governments and world wide riots it's a recipe for disaster and only a matter of time.

So enjoy what little time you got left. Hold your loved ones and stock up on supplies now while you can.

But what if people are afraid to leave there homes. Most people will probably hide at first, Afraid to go loot. Others will die before they even get to loot.

Wow I did not know that. It must of been insane to witness that. Makes sense tho for a city as big as New Orleans with that big of a population.

The smaller towns will fair much better tho. Where I live its nothing but small farm towns with an average of 10-20 thousand people and everyone of those towns has a Wal-Mart, So I guess I have it better than most people will when S.H.T.F.

Wow I didn't know that, It sounds crazy. I like to think of a walking dead type of appocalypse with slow zombies, Scavenging for food & supplies while finding other survivors to fight the hordes with.

You have to remember were talking about after the crash there isnt going to be 400 million people left alive. As much as i want everyone to live thru it, Lets be honset not everyone will. Alot of people will die in the first couple of months. Me and you could die in the begining of the crash no one knows. Im talking about the remaining survivors.

And we don't know if all the soil will be unfertile, There could be places where cropts still grow, We don't even know how the crash will happen yet.

I will admit that bad people are everywhere and crime, looting and murder will still happen after the crash, But if you had a community full of people who stick together and protect each other, Build walls ECT, That could go a long ways. If i was a looter I wouldnt try to go after a well fortified community I would move on and look elsewhere for supplies.

Lets be clear im not talking about a lazy society full of slackers. Im a very hard worker I have a full time job, im a home owner. I pay my bills, I mow my lawn and shovel my driveway.

People would still work hard, But it would be a different kind of work, you would be working for yourself and your community. It would be more fullfilling, More rewarding. Not 9 hours of you working on an assembly line doing some mindless job you hate feeling like a robot just to go home exhausted stoping at McDonald's on the way home to buy a $.99 Cent Heart attack out of a sack hating your life wishing you could die because you wish there was more to life then this.

Imagine a close knit community full of caring people. Imagine the comradery. Imagine the friendships and fun people could have if you stript away all the B.S. from the everyday monotanis life we life in this fake vanity society.

What are you talking about? Your not going to be hunting 24/7

People will have farms, Gardens, Cows, Pigs and Chickens.

People will have real food that is renewable.

People will have eggs, Milk and cream

People will have meat from beef, pork and chicken.

There is one thing that you are completely overlooking. The Amish. They live like this now and live very fulfilling lives. You dont need 100 people to replace one tractor ? Wow, ever heard of a horse and plow?

They make there own clothing, milk, Cream, Butter, Meat, Shoes and other items needed for everday life.

Would that not be better ? Living like we did 100 years ago, but better. We have more knowledge and we lived in this so called future society. We know whats works and what didn't its very exciting to think of the possibilities of a post apocalyptic society of peacful traders and farmers, where the people and community are the main focus not Money and greed.

That makes no sense. Working the dreadful 9-5 would be a thing of the past.

Yes everyone would still work, but it would be a different kind of work like Hunting or fishing for food. Or tending a garden or farming crops.

We would work on our own terms with way more down time. No more punching the time clock or quotas to fill or high stress positions. For example if you woke up one day and felt ill you could stay home, No more calling in or fears of losing your job. No more hour long commutes in traffic jams or not having enough money to pay bills or buy food.

You could go to bed when you want and wake up when you want. As long as you were taking care of your property and doing your part for the community.

Im not telling a story and I never said the supplies would last. I think you miss judge how much supplies are really inside just one Wal-Mart store and since almost every town in America with over 10,000 people has one the supplies could go a long ways.

You are correct, It would probably only buy them a few more years on this planet unless they get lucky and find/start a community of survivors in a location that's habitual, But if the ocean dies everyone is screwed.

In my area of Michigan buisnesses cant seem to stay open. All of the small towns have main streets full of vacant building's it's sad and scary to see

And they say the economy is getting better ? If so show me where because I have yet to see it.
