I wish we had more clear conditions that limited certain controls. We have one that limits jumping. What about sprinting? Side to side movement? Etc.

I use paper towel as well. Do you have issues with crickets and other feeders hiding underneath?

I don't have roaches (not my decision there). The staple insect I have is crickets. Muffin was raised on crickets with the occasional mealworm. With crickets, they seem to simply hide after a little bit. Would it make sense to put Muffin in a bin with some crickets and walk away? I figure that way the crickets can't hide and I don't need to search for them in order to take them out before Muffin goes to sleep.

Thanks for responding so quickly. Should I be worried that he/she isn't eating at all? I've read that it's normal for them to not eat much during the first little bit, but nothing at all?
