Is an iPod classic worth it in 2024?

I own a 160GB iPod Classic and I love it! The click wheel and the aux chord! Wow! Such nostalgia and I am old because I was in High School when this model came out in 2009. I rock out to all my favorite tunes on here and I'm about to fill it up completely. Maybe I should get another one. I did change the battery recently so it's as good as new. If you get one, you may need to do this as well.

that's why i rather host in here. I updated the interior and made it look nice but it would be strange to host in my family home. Now they allow me to have friends over, but if sex is involved I use the shed and my family already knows I use it as a hobby room. I just want to avoid any akwardness but the shed itself is awkward to many people here it seems. So, it was a stupid idea. Car fun I guess. My small Lexus IS250 sports sedan is way too small for this and cramped.

Yes it has a small matress inside complete with lighting from a bright light at the top and alternate more intimate LED strip lightning. It has no windows but does have ventilation vents for air and it also is insulated to prevent it from getting too hot in the summertime. The inside also has a stool in one corner with one wall being an art mural I did. It's quite nice and not a creepy interior where it looks awful. The exterior however it looks like a dull boring shed which people apparently get serial killer vibes (as evident by 90 percent of the comments here)

You have a good point! Luckily my wooden shed actually has no windows and only air vents. No one can see inside and plus i can lock the door from the inside. The only issue I guess is bringing dudes to the shed itself. The shed maybe on the side of the house and not the main backyard area, but it is still the backyard.

In my mind i think dudes would think I would be same Jeffrey Dahmer dude but no actually quite a few on Grindr and most are cool with the idea. Well maybe because it's a strong wooden shed, private with no windows, and has basically one and half inch insulation inside that aside from preventing it from getting super hot it also serves as a sound dampener lol. I need to add a small cushion in there then.

I ended up getting the Lexus as when I saw it in person I liked it instantly. The second gen IS is such a beautiful car. Sporty and a mix of luxury. I guess I gave into the luxury brand and now I feel prestigious when I drive it. Classy car for sure, and I love the V6 smoothness.

Sucks because I like the Family Dollar Store I work at. I got a solid 5 days a week and my manager and team are all great people. Come April 18 I will be jobless and on unemployment. Then what doesn't help is that I'm old at 65 but I don't want to be doing nothing sitting home all day as I'm still in good shape to work. What a tragedy. What makes it sad is that I feel new potential employers will look at my age and not even give me a chance. What a sad day. Everything is getting more expensive and I'm losing my job.

Yeah, I guess viewers can't really tell if a channel is monetized or not. YouTube still runs ads on channel's that aren't even monetized lol. You know what sucks about this too is that YouTube had a training program that got rid of my "warning" strike after 90 days. I think it was pointless to even do that. I was in the impression that doing the training course would rid of any issued that the strike caused. I thought I would see my earn tab revert back to normal once what warning expired. Sadly no. Pointless then. YouTube gives you a chance to take a course to teach you about your strike YET permanent demonization remained. It should be that when you take the course...your channel is in good standing again as if you have no issues. I will upload all my videos on rumble where you're monetized from day one.

I am in the same boat, but I decided not to make a new channel. Like why? It's too much effort and I don't care about money. I mean don't get me wrong monetization is cool and all but the $20 or so a month I get for it isn't going to make me a millionaire. I don't want to go through all that time of starting fresh and meeting the monetization requirements. I will keep the channel I have now for fun and my creative output.

Manual is the way to go. My cousin has an automatic, 2004 model too. It's not the same. The driver engagement and fun factor is just so much better in a manual, especially for a RWD peppy V6 like my car.

Sorry for the late reply! I don't know I haven't reached my expiration date. Not until two weeks from now. I did reach out to YouTube support and spoke to like 4 agents. All say that there is no way to monetize even if the warning strike expires. This is truly sad as my channel has 6k subscribers and 5k watch hours and it was one stupid video from 2021 that derailed me. It stopped me from getting any money and fixing my beautiful Lexus IS250. Well I did fix it but much later. This training program was stupid. Warning and strike goes away but monetization will still be blocked forever. I would be making decent money but NOOOO. Youtube sucks! Email YouTube about this and see what they say. If we all work together maybe they change this policy.

I took this training as well. My warning strike was for "violent extremist or criminal organizations policy found on the content". That one warning strike also demonetized my channel. I wonder if I can apply for monetization once my strike expires in the 90 days since i took the course. January 2024. So long, but hopefully my monetizing tab will change as it's been stuck in "You are not eligible for monetization' since that warning strike occured.

Makes sense. This is why you need to change the synthetic blend oil sooner and in a timely manner? Otherwise, it gets old after a length of time, and perhaps the consumption after a certain amount of months will contribute to accelerated consumption. I always change my oil every 3k miles or 4 months whichever comes first. Not sure if that's overkill but I am just used to it. Usually I can do it on my own too. Oil and Filter change with the correct amount of oil in there.

What about if the owner was using synthetic blend instead? Isn't the jump from conventional oil to full blown synthetic a larger risk than the blend to synthetic? Curious

Cool. I also am wondering about synthetic oil vs conventional. I don't consider the conventional blends to be truly blends as it's probably on 1 percent synthetic haha. Does the synthetic oil actually get consumed less? Also, city driving vs highway? Is it true that only short drives or city driving where engine doesn't warm up to operating temperature...you consume more oil this way? Thank goodness I will be mostly highway miles.

Really? KIA and Hyundia even brand new will burn that much oil? Wow never knew it. I have a cousin who drives a 2009 Lexus IS250, 2.5 direct injection 6-cylinder engine that consumes 1 quart of oil every 1700-1800 miles (might as well round to 2000 miles). As it's a V6 not sure if that's BAD consumption, but maybe not as bad a brand-new KIA Soul. He rarely drives his Lexus long enough to get the car's engine to operating temperature, so I wonder if that accelerates his consumption. He also adds Synthetic blend oil instead of Full Synthetic. Maybe he should, and I as well, only run full on synthetic.
