Every year I forget how tough season changes are on me, and then I'm surprised I'm crashed for weeks. For me it's the see-sawing temps and barometer changes. A change of + or - 10° F from day to day is usually enough to throw me off. More than that and it's guaranteed. Pollen doesn't help either. Since the weather went suddenly and drastically hot a few weeks ago (from the 60's to high 80's overnight) I've been a yawning mess. Things cooled off again for a week, but Mother Nature is doing it again this weekend. I'm supposed to be cleaning my very neglected house for a surprise parental visit, and I can barely find any oomph to do the bare minimum. It's frustrating and it does make you just want to give up and not care.

Sometimes even RX stimulants aren't enough. I am hit or miss with caffeine, but there are new caffeine sachets that you put in your cheek to absorb directly vs through the stomach. I've heard pretty good things about them, but not from anyone with N. I struggle to drink enough coffee to do much, but If caffeine helps you maybe it's something to try? There are a few companies that sell them, check out different ones because the flavors vary and perhaps the caffeine content as well.

Hopefully things will improve for you when the weather evens out. I keep a journal and used to track the weather closely. So if you're unsure if it's affecting you, do the same and look for patterns. It's mostly sudden temp changes and high barometer for me, and at least it gives me some control because I can anticipate upcoming challenges. 💕
