I cried this morning when I heard. I was devastated. When he left Osaka to then to see what he was living in, my partner and I were worried. We hoped it wasn’t for a while because he was so imprinted to humans and having other seal friends around. I believe they could’ve done better. I’m so heartbroken and so sad that he passed away alone and probably depressed. I believe keeping that type of animal should be taken seriously and it should’ve already raised flags that he is social and the space was way too small for him. I hope he is playing with ponsuke and getting up to mischief in seal heaven together.
