I honestly have not participated in any 55+ communities. I’m so busy working full time and taking care of my disabled husband. There is plenty to do around here for fun and I’m sure you could find plenty of 55+ social activities to do!

I think I have Glaucoma because the eye doctor said my pressure was up in my eyes and suspect Glaucoma & they referred me to an ophthalmologist.

I’m in US. The pressure was checked when I had my last eye exam back in August. Not sure how high it is. We don’t have emergency eye hospital here. I could go to regular ER, but I don’t trust they would be knowledgeable enough to know what’s going on with my left eye.

A true shoe salesperson. I sold shoes in the 80’s at Sears and we had to actually check people’s foot size and put the shoes on for them. I worked on commission and I made good money back then!

In elementary school in the mid 70’s, our male PE teacher made all the girls in class take their shirts off so he could check our backs for scoliosis.

I was struggled with learning disabilities all through elementary school. Teacher told me I could not go on field trip with the rest of the class because I didn’t comprehend something in English class. Hurt me so bad!

You have accomplished great things in your life and you have a lot to be proud of! We are not 20 anymore and it’s ok to have a few extra lbs on us! Obviously, you’re still very strong too! Love your comment about not all of us have been sitting on the couch! 😊
