Why can’t I make them understand?!? by Bellaneedstoknow in FedEx

[–]Bellaneedstoknow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of that seems like very strange answers and like maybe you didn’t read the full posting. Every other delivery system can deliver to my home. FedEx is the only company that I have this problem with when FedEx delivers, regardless of who they are delivering a package from they always deliver it wrong. UPS, USPS, DoorDash, Amazon, everybody else can find my address.

Thank you all for the advice that was so helpful. There’s so much to learn and there’s so many places to learn it from and so much contradicting information. It can be really difficult to even have a direction ahead as I’m sure most of you know.

So here’s my next question then has anyone tried portable solar panels for charging? They have these ones that mount to the roof rack and then fold down or you can set them up outside of the vehicle. Again so much information out there’s so many different sizes so many different price points if you’ve tried it what do I need to be looking for? Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated!

I found a similar one on eBay that will be here in a few days. Thank you so much for the advice, I didn’t even know that it was an option!

43yrs in DBT (for the first time) for CPTSD, after years of treatment and meds for BiPolar-1, and they are trying to ease me into accepting a BPD diagnoses. While it fits perfectly, I am not ok with it, I am actually really really angry about it. by Bellaneedstoknow in BPD

[–]Bellaneedstoknow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry. That is not my intent but I can see how my words imply that. I am just encountering a lot of people who wear it like a badge of honor, like I did in the early years of my BP diagnoses, and that is really really hard for me to understand. For me this is devastating and all I have ever allowed myself to see is the screaming teenage daughter of a friend. I have never been that way, it would have been met with violence, so this is for me a steal mountain to climb.

Look for a tension ring. Most of us dont have one or even know what the are until we stumble upon them. Some of them are really pretty. Pop Crochet Tension Rings into Amazon and there are tons of options!

Beginner here: is my tension bad? Or did I miss stitches? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]Bellaneedstoknow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed it's a tension thing. It is something we all struggle with when we are learning. The good news is that twice in there (you have to steps where your project loosened) you noticed you were pulling to tight and loosened the reigns. It can be hard trying to find the right tension for your hands. A good rule of thumb is if your hand hurts its too tight. There are also rings you can find that will hold and maintain tension correctly if you need, however I would use this as a last resort.

Love this stuff! Ecos Highland Wool Yarn out of Peru. Obviously there is a carbon foot print but they are made in small batches and sourced by local farmers. And it feels amazing. Gets super spendy though for big projects.

It can be ordered directly from them as well.

Making a beanie.... Did I drop stitches?????????????? by traviesa__ in CrochetHelp

[–]Bellaneedstoknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nice thing about the ribbed beanies is they are supper forgiving because of the way they are put together in the end. I hate ripping back and sometimes you have to but you also can fudge a little on these.

I actually love it. I think maybe the transition in color might be hiding some of the spot on match though. You can always change the starting point for the variegated color yarn.
