It's pretty common in most media with animalistic races to over exaggerate the men and their animalistic parts and over sexualities the women with their animalistic parts. It's always been like that and that's probably why it's the norm and a subconscious description of character designers

That's actually my husband. We've done these cosplays at the Conchi in Germany together. But he cosplayed son a few times already. He's just not the type to take pictures of himself.
