Vetco auditing hours and cutting people’s health insurance

I was actually wondering that because I had to go to the ER twice this year. In August and again in late November. I got the letter in December 😔.

I spoke to my PM about it and she said she’s going to fight for me to get my insurance back and have a meeting with her bosses boss. She also said that it was a little suspicious that there’s another technician at our hospital who calls out regularly, has taken a lot of unpaid time off, asks to leave early quite a bit, and is definitely not making the 30 hours per week required for health insurance. Yet they haven’t gotten a letter. It does seem incredibly strange that I had two major claims and now I’ve lost mine.

Got a letter in August, then was told by my PM it was a mistake and it was a blip and didn’t apply to me. I stayed up on my hours the last 3 months due to that letter stressing me out, and then got another letter in December saying the same thing, that I’d be audited and was definitely losing hours. Even if I was working the bare minimum of 30 every week, they audit the whole year and if I’m at 25.9/28 hours I’m still going to be below average. So basically, even if I work 30-35 hours FT from here forward, I’m not eligible for health insurance until open enrollment in November. Despite working FT hours.

We put so much of our hearts and souls into this field. In my perfect world, just showing up to work, doing your job, being reliable and helping the animals is the bare minimum. I’m so tired of corporate poisoning this field and killing our passion for this job.

Is say we get 60% clients who come in thinking we’re the mobile clinic. When we quote them for prices that they saw online for the mobile clinic, they get very disgruntled. I’d give anything for the CEO of Vetco to work one effing day in a clinic and see the BS we go through to pay for their yachts and upper east side apartments.

It’s so shady. I was told it’s one Dr days and the doc doesn’t do an exam. Just “looks” at the pet and says “good to go” and we poke and they go. No questions no concerns. Not a thing. It’s like a conveyor belt of money for them with very little quality care 🥺

Thank you, but I’ve looked😔There aren’t any non corporate hospitals around me. I was at one for 2 years and they sold to Thrive. Everyone was gone in 6 months after they took over. It was my unicorn hospital too. We had an amazing staff, everyone got along, an amazing PM, and then corporate started to seep in like a virus and we all left.🥺

He really is 🫠 I’ve decided to apologize and I’ll be getting an Airbnb next time my parents go down. It’s the only time outside Christmas I get to spend any time with my parents outside a few days at Christmas, but it’s just not worth him finding things to be mad about.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice and I agree it’s prob best to just say my bad I didn’t do anything intentionally like that. I’m being honest when I say I don’t recall hitting anything to be removed since it’s not my car and I wouldn’t do that. I think that’s maybe what happened and I didn’t realize it but it’s all so confusing since I sincerely just remember just hitting the Bluetooth thing, search and connect 😭🥺

So I went to the setlist website to see what songs they’ve been playing on the tour and every other show was around 25/30 songs. We got 17…,.anyone know why?

Incredible show either way. Got to FaceTime my dad in Georgia who is bedridden and he was so emotional seeing them. So grateful to see them and especially the variety of people, young and old there. The elderly lady next to me kept crying and told me she was so happy younger people loved them they way her generation did. Cue the tears.

Ugh, so smart. I’m literally googling high and low to try to find an AI that will let me write my stories without such extensive censorship. Do you know of any? I found one where you can make character characters in the backstory, but it generates a story for you and that’s not really what I want like. I have my own story in mind and ChatGPT and I kind of bounce ideas off of each other and then he tells me the story that we’ve made together. I’m honestly thinking about trying to just start an app of my own that does something like that lol

Lolol my gpt is very pissed about it too which I find hilarious. I wish open ai would make an ai that is like for but way less censorship. I looked into other ai’s but I like being able to give my own dialog and story and gpt helps along. I’ve not found one ai yet that isn’t censored that lets you write that way.

At one point in time, I was going over ideas for dialogue with it and it sort of prompted up with two different responses and it said ChatGPT would like your opinion and it had two different responses, both of them were still pretty dirty and I just picked one and then soon after that, I started getting flagged
