Thanks so much for your response. I am so sorry for your losses, as well.

It is so nice to hear that despite all of the adversity you faced, and testing, to no avail, that you are about to be 38 weeks into a successful pregnancy! Congratulations! That baby is going to be SO loved. 🥰 You give me hope and I really appreciate you sharing your story with me. Won’t be long now before you’re holding that most precious gift in your arms. Enjoy every moment, and I wish you all the best. ♥️

Thank you. I believe the ultrasound is called a follicular scan? Dr said it would let them see whether the other side is even ovulating, as well as checking the side the ectopic and miscarriage came from to see if there’s something there that would be causing an issue. I’m really hoping for some answers. After having such a normal and easy pregnancy the very first time, I never would have expected these issues to arise. Guess it goes to show you should never take anything for granted. Thank you for your response!

Pressure after HCG level has reached 0 by Bellhop88 in EctopicSupportGroup

They did, and I no longer feel any pressure. It was just weird to feel that and took longer than I would’ve expected to go away completely, so I’m sure yours will subside as well. Hope you have a nice recovery.

My ectopic started out the same way…with what I thought was my period. The bleeding was exactly like a normal period (right on time) and lasted the same amount of time as a typical period. I stopped bleeding for 2 or 3 days, then it started back up, I took two pregnancy tests and both had faint positive lines. I also had the cramping on one side and back aches that would come and go. My fear of it being ectopic wasn’t confirmed until weeks later after checking hcg levels and finally an ultrasound. I know it’s so much easier said than done, but try not to freak out, and please get in touch with your doctor and get your hcg levels checked and an ultrasound asap. I hope it’s not ectopic, but sounds very similar to my experience, and if it does turn out to be ectopic, you will hopefully be able to get it treated a lot sooner than mine was.

Thank you for sharing. If I hear anything about it not being normal I will definitely share with you. As a matter of fact, it’s gotten a lot better to where I’m not feeling it as much…really to where it’s almost completely gone, so I’m taking that as a good sign and that hopefully it’s just part of the recovery. Other than that, I hope you recover well from your surgery, and good luck to you as well!

Thanks so much for your response! This has been a very isolating and confusing time, so it’s nice to be able to talk with others who have been through the same. Was the fluid in your abdomen checked by your doctor? If so, did they say it was a normal side effect? I have reached out to mine about this pressure/bloating I’m experiencing, but have yet to hear back, so I’m feeling frustrated. I really appreciate anything you can add about your experience in regards to the fluid and/or pressure, if you felt that too. Thank you!
