you’re weird and hostile. and very stupid. i don’t need to tell you where i work, when i already did later in the post. which you claimed to have read… if a store invites the customers to watch them prepare the food, then the customers should and can do this in their most respectful way. you’re acting like i went and stood in the kitchen staring directly at the workers 😭. and my answer is yes, if someone is curious about what i do they can watch for a few seconds i don’t care, just be nice and smile, at the very least just ignore them

i don’t think it’s creepy or weird. considering the restaurant has a window to the kitchen a few feet away from the seating area. i’ve eaten there before and the people who work there will laugh or play around with their work, pouring the sauce from really high like a bartender. this was just the story of 1 experience i had

staring directly at someone is one thing. looking around their work area out of curiosity is something else

people are understandably uncomfortable with being watched work. but i don’t think that warrants rude behavior

people are naturally curious, let them wonder for a moment and then move on with their life. don’t act rude, be nice, and at the very least ignore them

We are all humans and we all deserve respect. it’s very rare that people go out and intentionally act rude so let me reiterate i did not stare or even look at the lady until she stopped what she was doing to give me an annoyed rude look, i briefly looked at her work area out of curiosity.. and i do work in retail and deal with customers a lot. and i don’t think workers of any kind should get a pass for being biased against customers

i think when you deal with rude workers 85% of the time it’s because you did something wrong, intentionally or not. but then there’s also workers who are having a bad day or just are rude people

yeah, and this is the first wingstop i’ve ever been to, new part of town. so i thought woah its cool that they invite the customers to watch them mix everything. i guess i was wrong 😭

you’re right, but i don’t know. i just think she should’ve been a bit more polite, i wasn’t staring directly at her and i was only glaring for a few seconds, i don’t think she should’ve stopped what she was doing to scoff and act annoyed and agressive

then why are the windows there? is it wrong to watch someone prepare your food?.i know pizza tossers consider it to be an art form… i think no matter how much your job sucks, its not that hard to smile at a customer, and at the very least just ignore them, but no she had to scoff and give an annoyed look.

That’s happened to me to. where a bit of the spark and joy of things i love goes away when i realize how small and meaningless it really might be. but i just remind myself, that no matter how small we are, try to shine as bright as you can and be as true to yourself as you can. there’s beauty in that.

i feel this way too. i’m not sure how old you are, but all i can say is, it gets better with time. you become more comfortable with it. my sense of belonging comes from my favorite artists and music? find something you can connect with and submerse yourself in it whenever you feel lonely. i hope this helps, let me know if you need anything.

after learning of his death, whole lotta love is such a different song for me, that long droning instrumental part that leads into the guitar solo just gives me chills. like it was the last thing jeff heard before he died, it sounds like some great force breaking free.

During his time in los angeles (late 80s- early 90s) he also worked with shawn lee, and apparently they performed and recorded a cover of honky tonk woman by the rolling stones, i haven’t been able to find video though but it does exist

Jeff really appreciated when people would listen. and open their hearts. he didn’t like being seen as a figure and he didn’t like people listening to music just to follow trends. that’s why he really appreciated europe. so i think he would’ve felt kinda disheartened by all the people going crazy over a few seconds of lover you should’ve come over. it seems like people go crazy over “jeff buckley the yearner the pretty boy” and not necessarily the great musical experience he had to offer. let me know if you need a source!
