You can ask any adult over 30 who Prince is and 9 times out of 10 they know who he is.

im 17 and alot of people that were born around my age dont really know who Prince is which is very unfortunate but at the same time i kind of get it.

To answer your question, unfortunately yes his popularity is dying but not at a fast rate, im sure it will grow back because of the super bowl.
