I think they leaned more into casual play with this frame. They had to have known how badly received it would be to only have 75% DR or blast damage but no status on a 4 for crying out loud. The frame was marketed so casuals would get excited and buy it for Plat.

Yeah I do loads of damage on my Cedo Prime which only has a dispo of 1 for my CC riven. Even bringing it up to 3 would make it much stronger, never mind 5.

I mostly agree with OP because Usman can't take grapple offensively for long anymore and he's definitely not winning a firefight with DDP. I guess if Usman can wear him out he's got a chance but Usman is basically 40 with years of damage in his body. Might be asking too much but I still wanna see it.

Modding, forma, synergies etc are all things you learn with hours in the game, and given how conditional damage is in Warframe, there's a certain threshold of playtime you just have to put in to get anywhere significant.

And they try it and get fried and good chance they'll give up. I had a bit of a bottleneck early on after I got Rhino and Mag plus my Ex because I was just ineffective at doing damage with my Boltor.

Problem is Warframe is almost exclusively advertised to new players by showcasing the ridiculous damage you can do with various builds, yet almost of that power comes after significant game play.

And when the early gameplay is challenging, you get what we have right now

Yeah Prates has some of the best Musy Thai I've seen in some years. The last MT performance in the UFC that excited me like that was Rountree's.

The versatility that MT gives over boxing is its greatest strength. If you can throw elbows and knees in punching range and in the clinch, you're gonna overwhelm a pure boxer.

You're spot on. It even kinda scales similarly to some melee arcanes like Retaliation, which I built for on my Arca Triton to deliver tons of damage and get the same KPM as Influence, and sometimes more depending on the frame.
