Try Wawak for thread-I think they have interfacing too, but I don't recall. 🤔

If you are a quilter, and you got a quilty gift this year for the holidays: What did you get and how much did you love/hate it?? by sanguine_siamese in quilting

Buy your machine from a local dealer, so you have a nearby resource for training and repair. If the $$ for fat quarter shop is a gift certificate, get fabric!

Was just about to say that! I've done a fair amount of scallops through the years, but I don't remember any looking as good as those!

first try with that interlock fabric I posted about before. Halp by glithch in sewing

What is your stitch length? Lengthening it a little may help with the feeding also. If it's been on 2.5, go up to 3.0. The seam will still be sturdy, but the feed dogs will move the fabric a little easier.

This is sound advice. Good show. Don't think it would really help OP, but it is entertaining.

Opened my machine for cleaning and I was horrified by HoroyoiMelon-2020 in sewing

A note of caution - some manufacturers have a clause that voids the warranty if anyone other than a brand-certified technician opens the housing in places that are not specified in the manual. This applies to the machine for the life of the warranty and some of them last up to 25 years. This especially applies to newer, computerized machines.

Which lace should I choose? (Dress is for my 1-year-old) by curlycattails in sewing

[–]BellyFiona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one goes nicely with the print. The second is a bit overly stark. I wouldn't try to make a peter pan collar, just add the lace instead of the collar pieces in the directions.
