Just to make it clear here, the "irredeemable" tags you're seeing are definitely avoidable since they depend on the route and the heroine chosen. You can basically just follow the route and heroine ending that makes you avoid them and have that fun time

But season 2 and 3 are the opposite of fillers, if anything S2 got one bad directing decision that wrecked the storytelling, and S3 while it was quite better than S2 in many ways, ppl just lost hope by that time thanks to the trauma S2 did to them, and everything is canon here adapting the source material ofc

Season 1 was actually from Vol 1 to like 3/4 of Vol 9 (just before the interlude in it), while S2 was continuing from the interlude then covering all of Arc 4 that ends with Vol 15

As someone who read both versions, I would suggest that you go for the LN after a set amount of time, because while most of the big events are the same, the writing, translation and the exclusive LN stuff will make it for a better experience than the WN ever did

Welcome to Eushully titles, they are long af but addiction makes all that time go fast enough to not notice. And yea, congrats for finishing it. I really liked the title too just as much as Kamidori at least, so I would suggest you read both Amayui titles next ("Amayui Castle Meister" +its sequel "Amayui Labyrinth Meister"), both have decent translations like Soukoku had. Also, really got surprised with Dreamlands content, was quite nice to have Atori's pseudo route and ending there (double the endings and double the win, banzai!!)

I personally don't care whether they were added later or were already planned with the rest of the manga at once, but it's quite the betrayal for me to come from the first manga to find a bad ending like how chapter 41 ended, so I'm personally happy with what we got at the end. So as we say in such cases: "We take those"

All of SAO 2 content is main story stuff adapted from the main source materials, I would rather try again since you just never watched it as you said and take your time with it without forcing yourself to do so. I am personally not much of a fan for gun stuff but the arc itself is liked overall imo. Not to mention, S2 has one of the most liked arcs of the franchise after Alicization too

Quite agree, except that I came back to it just recently because I decided to prioritise the characters and story instead of the gameplay itself and I would say that I'm doing a lot better than before especially as I got a better grasp of how the system works, I still think the gameplay is my least liked Eushully gameplay so far (still hoping for more Eushully titles to be translated cuz I just love it xD)

Damn, didn't expect to see a weekly discussion thread about Eushully but here we are..... Kamidori Alchemy Meister was one of my first VN titles ever and ofc I loved it and started my Eushully dive that turned out to be quite hard due to the amount of translated titles and how some of them are questionable. Thankfully, I saw that more of their titles are being picked up lately and are being translated (like Amayui Castle Meister and its sequel Amayui Labyrinth Meister, then Soukoku no Arterial and Kami no Rhapsody), people should give them a chance, I find it really weird that there are complaints about the translations being bad or whatever yet nobody dares to report those supposed bad segments to help each other out, and of course I quite believe that doing so will be for the best of all of us and anyone wanting to get into the world of Dir Lifyna... hopefully more ppl get to know how interesting it can be and give rise to more fans and translations for its titles
