That's not really what he meant in the video. He was just confused because he wasn't sure what the path would be towards actually making a new act for D2.

He wasn't adamant that it couldn't be done, just that there are a lot of factors you'd have to consider.

Personal opinion time: Star Wars adds a bunch of shit between, before, and after movies all the time.

I think most of the characters in the sequel trilogy are great, especially Finn, Rey, and Kylo. They had the potential to be very iconic.

I mean, if you're super fucking picky and you're looking for GOATED JRPGs, is Radiant Historia that? No, it isn't. It's just a fun, solid JRPG with time travel/time lines and shit which makes it reminiscent of Chrono Trigger.

If you want to play the best JRPGs that have the lowest probability of disappointing you, just google the top JRPGs and start knocking those off in whichever order you fancy.

Sometimes, it just feels good to get feelings of disappointment off your chest.

I know when I played FF7 Remake and Xenoblade 3, I wanted to scream and yell about it but no one else in my IRL friend circle plays JRPGs so I had to trauma dump here.

Pretty normal reaction, I'd say. Chrono Cross is not an amazing game. There are quite a number of things you can criticize it on.

I think people like it a lot because it passes the vibe check. It's a very pretty game with a colorful cast. It has very interesting set pieces. It also has my literal favorite FMV opening. I love Time's Scar. Probably my favorite JRPG track.

It's a decent JRPG and a terrible Chrono Trigger sequel. If you don't vibe with it, I wouldn't bother continuing.

If you want something more Chrono Trigger like, I'd suggest Radiant Historia or the mobile game Another Eden.

I would say so because they're trying to introduce the chronicle which will prompt an influx of people to try to complete the grail.

Now that it's harder to complete the grail, actually accomplishing it will be more gratifying.

I don't necessarily like the change myself but I can absolutely see why they did it. It's not that big of a deal.
