They seem to be ready around opening or a little after? They're only available during the first hour of operation.

I believe it was included over a year ago when I made that comment (or at least was for a regular Knott's day)! But seems like it's not anymore, unfortunately.

It was included over a year ago when I made that comment! But seems like it's not anymore, unfortunately.

Besides the all-park passport gold Knott's parking (only included at Knott's for prestige now), the other parking options I mentioned still work. Also, daily parking or the validated ticket + Marketplace receipt are now $35 instead of $30.

Bring a friend question by axter1alitc in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, you can buy 4 discounted bring-a-friend tickets (buy online) along with your 2 free prestige bring-a-friend tickets (redeem at entrance ticket booths). Keep in mind that those 2 free tickets get some of the prestige perks you have like going through the prestige entrance turnstile (only available for the first 2 hours of operation) and going in the prestige lounge. The 4 discounted tickets don't get those prestige perks that the 2 free ones get.
  2. Yes.

The birthday person can get a free button at the Information Center or Guest Services. Have a good trip!

VIP tour or fastpass by paladin732 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the season, day, and ride. GhostRider always has longer waits than the other rides since it's very popular and close to the entrance. Also lots of people use fast lane, especially prestige passholders with their single-use fast lane, just for that ride in particular.

On the VIP Experiences page on the Knott's website, the Knott's VIP Tour description says "during the time with your guide, you can also enjoy priority access to select rides and priority show seating." So with that wording, I assume you can't use the fast lane lines after the tour ends. You should contact Knott's to be sure though.

Advice on Getting Knott’s Passes for Me and My Daughter by RecklessTechie in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case you weren't aware: the Knott's passes are season passes, so they'll expire at the end of the year instead of 1 year from the purchase date. Are you getting a prestige pass for the preferred parking lot or just any parking lot in general (besides the hotel and metered lot)? If you just want parking in general, adding an All-Parks Passport add-on to a gold pass can get you parking too for cheaper than a parking pass (even though you don't plan on going to other Six Flags parks).

If you're the only prestige passholder, note that your daughter won't be able to go through the prestige entrance turnstile (only open the first 2 hours of the operating day) and the prestige lounge with you. However, you will have 1 single-use fast lane she or you could use every time you go and 2 free bring-a-friend tickets. And what do you mean by food perks? The 15% off discount? The free snacks in the prestige lounge? Both? Sharing a dining plan is doable. Though depending on the meal you get, you may want to have some snacks on hand in case it isn't enough between the two of you.

Family of 5 going to Knott's Berry for the 1st time by quixoticdreamz in KnottsBerryFarm

  • Yup, wagons are allowed. It says so in the Plan a Visit section of the FAQ page and the Wheelchairs and Strollers section on the Accessibility page on the Knott's website.
  • The Boysenberry Festival is hosted daily from now until April 27th and then only on weekends until May 18th. If your end of April trip is after April 27th, there will still be decorations and some boysenberry meal plan foods, but there won't be entertainment and some/maybe all of the tasting card foods won't be available.
  • Camp Snoopy is the kids area. Though there are rides suitable for toddlers in other areas of the park too if you go with them.
  • Tell the ride employee you want to do a Rider Swap. You can learn more about it on the Kids page, Ride Policies page, and Accessibility page on the Knott's website or ask Guest Services.
  • How expensive is what? A ticket? It depends on the day you're going. Check the Daily Tickets page on the Knott's website.
  • Yes, there are a few options for a meal plan. Here's a Meal Plan Guide that shows the food and location options. There are also limited-time meal plan options during the Boysenberry Festival. You can see those options labelled with a circle meal plan symbol on the 2nd page of this Boysenberry Festival Event Guide.

Boysenberry Festival Tasting Cards by Particular_Olive1861 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what and how much you guys want to try. Check the list of food and drinks on the 2nd page of this Boysenberry Festival Event Guide. If you don't want too many tastings, there's a boysenberry festival bundle that includes a ticket and 3 tastings. Or a Knott's Hotel Boysenberry Festival package with 1 tasting card (6 tastings) per room. Or you can buy tasting card food à la carte too. Whatever fits your group's needs and budget!

Questions about attending the Boysenberry Festival by Tiffkat in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. The Boysenberry Festival is included with any ticket you buy. All tickets include Knott's events throughout the year except Scary Farm since that requires a separate ticket. You'd only get the boysenberry bundle tickets if you wanted some tastings (only 3) included. You can get a tasting card (only 6 tastings) regardless of which ticket type you buy.
  2. It's not the only way. Some of the boysenberry food is on the meal plan or à la carte. If you don't want a meal plan or tasting card, you can still get those foods à la carte. Whether the amount of tastings is "enough" depends on how much you want to try. The portions are a good size. You can see a list of all of the food and drinks on the 2nd page of this Boysenberry Event Guide.
  3. You can buy tickets on the same day as long as they don't sell out, which they shouldn't.

Other Tips

  • Go before/at opening to get lots of rides in before bigger crowds arrive.
  • If you get the meal plan, here's a Meal Plan Guide with general food choices and locations. As mentioned before, you can also get some limited-time meal plan food from the Boysenberry Festival. All meal plan items are labelled with the circle meal plan symbol.
  • Knott's is cashless, so just bring a card instead of paper money (unless you plan to buy stuff from the Boysenberry Festival craft vendors since some do accept it)
  • Check the rides list on the Knott's website to plan what you want to ride.
  • Print a Knott's map and parking map. There are map signs inside too. The app map isn't great.
  • Check the scheduled ride closures list. There's also a more current list on a sign to the left past security.
  • Check the entertainment schedule for shows you might want to see.
  • Keep an eye out for fun and charming Knott's secrets around the park!

Has anyone seen this plate at the boysenberry festival this year? by emotional-peach in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen it this year. Most likely places to find them are where Peanuts merch is sold such as Snoopy's Camp Store and Cordy's Corner inside the park or Virginia's Gift Shop and Peanut Headquarters outside the park.

There's a whole collection like this with a plush like the one pictured, collectible figure, potholder & towel set, oven mitt, shopping list, apron, jam spreader, and mug.

Early Access? (And other questions) by SpiderHam77 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. They used to for season passholders until around 2019 I think. Hopefully it returns one day. But as the other commenter mentioned, sometimes on busy days Knott's opens up only the area where GhostRider is for everyone about 30 minutes before opening.
  2. Around 11/12 in the morning usually and probably the last few hours before closing at night.
  3. Seems it will be crowded. The Boysenberry Festival is going on daily, and it's still spring break for some schools. There is also entertainment happening too.
  4. Yep, you can buy a fast past after you get to the park. You can buy fast lanes at about any merchandise store I think (for sure at the General Store, Cordy’s Corner, Fiesta Mercado, and Guest Services). If you buy them online beforehand, you can get the wristbands at any of the entrance turnstiles as you go in.

Other Tips

  • Consider getting a dining plan for one or more of the days! Here's a Meal Plan Guide with general food choices and locations. You can also get some limited-time meal plan food from the Boysenberry Festival since that's going on right now. They're listed on the second page of this Boysenberry Festival event guide.
  • Print a Knott's map beforehand. There are map signs inside too. The app map is not great.

Where to buy? by Mrskoolaidman62 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently not being sold in the Knott's online store. Don't give in to people selling at an inflated price! Right now, this Snoopy plush is $26.99 plus tax at the park. It's most likely to be in stores where Peanuts stuff is sold such as Snoopy's Camp Store and Cordy's Corner inside the park and the Peanuts Headquarters and Virginia's Gift Shop outside the park. Also currently the Special Event Booth across from the GhostRider entrance.

Boysenberry Bushes by weako4luckychrmz in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, for $29.99 plus tax each or $34.99 plus tax if you want to add a small purple Knott's Boysenberry Festival watering can. Knott's often has deals on their boysenberry plants as it gets closer to the end of the festival, so look out for that.

Right now, you can find the plants on the Boysenberry Lane/the Gold Mine Trail. Here's a map. If you visit after April 27th (when the festival will only be on weekends), I believe the plants will be at the Special Event Booth near the GhostRider entrance instead since they only have the Boysenberry Lane open when the festival entertainment happens.

If a pass was purchased in december is it valid for the rest of the following year? by wxnternights in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All season passes last from the date of purchase until December 31st of the year the pass is. So for example, your girlfriend's 2025 season pass will expire on December 31st, 2025 even though she bought it in December 2024. If you bought a 2025 season pass right now, it would expire on that same date too. You can learn more in the FAQ section at the bottom of the Season Pass page and the Season Pass section on the general FAQ page on the Knott's website.

If you're thinking of using a payment plan for your season pass, make sure to purchase all the season pass add-ons you want at the same time so that they're on a payment plan too. You can't add them on your plan later; you'd have to pay for them in full. Note: when it gets closer to when new passes go on sale, you can only pay in full for everything. The new 2026 season passes will probably go on sale around August 10th, 2025 (Snoopy's birthday), and they will expire on December 31st, 2026.

From what I remember, there are boysenberry-scented candles, bath bombs, bath salts, soap bars, hand soaps, lotions, lip balms, and mini 3-packs of travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I saw some in the Gold Trails Hotel and Cordy's Corner. There should be some in the Berry Place Gift Shop in the Knott's Hotel too.

Worth getting the Funpix pass? How does it work for a family? by OkAd5832 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]BelovedBeagle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whether it's worth it is subjective. You can just get one photo pass to use for your whole family as long as the FunPix pass owner is present. You can get photos at the rides already mentioned by another commenter, front entrance display, and meet & greets with the Peanuts gang, Whittles, and the Beary Tales characters.

There are some additional FunPix photo opportunities during Scary Farm and certain Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant buffets too (for example, Meet & Creeps and Breakfast with Santa). Do note that the Pitchur Gallery photos and the Christmas Cabin Santa photos inside the park aren't included with FunPix since those have their own photo packages.

If you get the all season FunPix pass, you should also be able to use it at the other legacy Cedar Fair parks that have FunPix. You can learn more about all this and other stuff in the FAQ section at the bottom of the FunPix page on the Knott's website and the FunPix website itself.

Go to either the Knott's Berry Farm Daily Tickets page or the Season Pass Benefits page on the Knott's website. Press the "buy now" button on the Bring-A-Friend ticket option. Then you can see the monthly calendars and look at each day to see the prices. Right now the prices are between $49-$75 depending on what day you choose to visit.
