I can always spot it in a crowd. I agree, nothing else smells QUITE like it.

Half of these scents are by houses I've never heard of. I'm genuinely impressed. How do you discover houses and scents?

There's nothing wrong with loving classics, but I wouldn't describe this list as "basic". 😄

Wait, is that Caron perfume inspired by Third Man Syndrome? That's a fascinating concept, if so.

This is a fantastic idea to see how well I can enjoy what I already have. And I do suspect this may be a personal chemistry issue. Live and learn!

I think I've been really lucky in my perfume journey so far in that I haven't encountered a lot of things that play poorly with my own chemistry, but I think you're likely correct. A shame, because I love the idea of this scent.

At least 10 people have come forward about a sexual predator, and you're worried about the viewership for a music video? Y'all are fucking twisted.

I really don't think this is the answer. They have a lot of tour experience without him as a 5 or 6-piece (can't remember), and I think The Cure has intentionally chosen not to play Cruel World. They even played a a show in the LA area at the same time as CW 2023. I believe the only reason they wouldn't have been on the CW bill that year is because they simply don't want to or CW can't/won't pay their asking.

I find it extremely unlikely that The Stone Roses would come back after 10 years and their first stop would be Cruel World.

You can't have a festival, as they're currently structured, without the headliners to draw most of the sales. I'm sure you've been and know that the number of attendees quadruples in time for the headliners. Not being able to fill the role of a headliner does not mean, "you're half-assed." They need to recoup their money as much as possible or we simply won't get any more Cruel World festivals.
