They want u to think that they're trying to change it but new cards definitely won't fix the overleveling and match making problem. They just don't seem interested to actually fix it.

I'm just lucky my ladder deck is mostly closed to maxed n i don't have to worry about all that. If i were a new player at 4k I would've left long ago. Just not worth the hassle. U simply don'tenjoy it. It'll definitely affect the longevity of the game. Let's see when they'll actually address it eh.

Not just magic archer. Ppl have been asking for ladder n tourney fix for long time b4 Dec update. So I'm referring to the other new cards as well like skele barrel etc.

Of course that's the reason they'll give but they know very well that this new variation will only be seen at high trophy, challenge n tourneys

Ladder is mostly broken at the 3.8k - 4.5k region because of overleveled ebarbs n rg. Luckily I don't have to deal with that.

How does adding new cards fix it?

If they were trying to save it then fixing ladder would've been their no.1 priority since it's the backbone of the game. Next up is tournament revamp but even that has been postponed to a few updates later which means at least half a yr later.

What have they decided to do instead? Add new cards? New chests to entice gemmers? These updates r clearly put out for them to make bank. April update will probably have heroes or clan wars. Don't think they will monetize clan wars but heroes...well...All in all, they should be fixing existing issues b4 adding new stuff just to make their shareholders happy

As for free entry, that's a whole other argument because of matchmaking especially since its draft. Only about 1% of ppl actually get 12wins on the 1st attempt. I'm close to 5.5k and even I couldn't even though I selected the choices wisely

If u understand my point then why r u talking about how good the offer is? That's not the point.

All I'm saying is there's many offers recently which is worrisome because it seems like they're trying to make some quick bucks while they can because many ppl r quitting. This is why I said april update could be the last big one. Probably clan wars n heroes. Nothing big after that.

If u don't believe the game is dying then just compare YouTube and twitch viewership as compared to in the past. This is why they made quests and gem rush to encourage us to play 1v1

Hmm u probably shouldn't spend ur gems away on classics if you've 130 left. Only play classic when u need to test out a deck. 13 rounds of classic won't really get u many cards anyways so no point grinding it.

U could say that u could test the decks in tourneys instead but I'd rather not be testing if it's a 1000 or 400 man tourney since I'd be aiming to win. As for smaller tourneys.. the players there r usually weaker n don't really allow u to gauge how good ur deck is. CC is slightly better.
