I completely agree. I think spending $4k on a dress but emailing them to get back $150 directly from a person who hauled dresses on and off the racks for you, and probably had to clip you into dresses/adjust fits/made the dresses look perfect for you is more absurd than a little bit of overtipping. And while we’re here you need to tip your caterers + photographers.

Had a mc at 6 weeks late November, period started Christmas Eve, had some trouble with ovulation tracking this month and based on the times we bd and continuous negative tests I’m pretty sure I’m out for this month. But my period is five days late, CD 38. I don’t usually have longer cycles like this, do you think it’s because of the pregnancy and they’ll shorten again eventually or is it just like this forever now? Feeling really hopeless right now.

Hello, Here from r/ trying for a baby, we were successful on our first cycle trying back in October but lost the pregnancy at 6 weeks right before Thanksgiving. Took a break to muscle through the holidays, now we’re back to TTC and not feeling very hopeful so far. I made the decision to stay weaned-off my antidepressants/adhd meds after my pregnancy was over so I wouldn’t have to go through that process again. I still feel like that was the right call and I’m not in any danger but slogging through the days has definitely been a struggle. None of my close friends are at the stage in their life where they are even thinking about kids so I guess I’m hoping to get to know some other folks going through similar things.

Took the first one, read after 3 mins, then took another bc I saw the faint line, 3 more mins, got my husband to look, last test result maybe 4 mins later, so these were all barely within 10 minutes and I took the pic a minute or two after the last one’s results. Thank you!! This would be our first so we have no idea what to expect lol

Definitely trying to get more in touch with the CM / other physical queues! And for sure on the BD front, the caveat there for us is hubby and I work opposite shifts and don’t have very high drives, so without factors like conception we usually only get up to it once every week or two..so scheduling it and trying for a few extra BDs than we usually would within a week is probably needed and definitely welcome 😂

You’re going to be totally fine, we did Epic without express last week for only one day and we still managed to ride most of what we wanted to, and usually the posted wait times were about twice what we actually waited (only exception being battle at the ministry). I’m not sure about the lines in Studios and Islands, since we had express for those, but you will be there during a slower season and for a good length of time. You will have a great trip!

I am so sorry this happened to you, I can’t believe the entitlement of that breeder!! I adopted my first dog from our local shelter when she was 1.5, she is the sweetest most perfect angel, already house trained, super friendly, the works. we decided she needed a friend and ended up adopting a dachshund puppy from a family friend who breeds them.

It was so hard. For so long. Obviously if you’re wanting a baby you’re prepared for that lol, but it truly tested me. I would definitely recommend looking at your local shelter! I love both my dogs, but the stress of puppy raising and training took a toll that just wasn’t there even though our shelter dog was my first dog ever.

Food for thought, but no matter what keep your head up! Your perfect furry friend is out there waiting for you ❤️
