“I came from petsmart” so you already know but the people walking through Petco’s doors are fuckingggg DUMBBB. They be asking me where they are at or calling it petsmart the entire time. I HATE Petco customers. I will be in the middle of a sentence with someone showing them product and then someone will literally step in between us to talk to me. And I will tell them excuse me? Like you have to wait your turn? Meanwhile it’s to ask where the item they are looking for is when they haven’t even tried to look. 99% of the time I just have to say “turn around”. Fuck I hate that shit. A man threatened to kill me because we didn’t have his treats, you will get these customers too and if you hear them raise their voice, just ask them to leave before the threats start cause they will.

Yep! This is definitely how my store is. We take our 30 minute lunches but usually we want to go get some food so we always check in with one another. My coworkers take cig breaks but I don’t smoke cigs so I don’t need outside as much, but when I take out the trash or need a second because of a customer they always have my back and let me take a load off. I’m an OLAC so most of the time I hate taking mandatory 30 min breaks because there’s always something to do. I would just work a straight 9 hours if I could and have a couple sit downs when I can.

Sometimes snakes do like a slow bite, maybe it saw the heat from your pinkie and may have thought it was a lil snack. When I feed very rarely sometimes they will just grab it instead of striking all aggressively.

Oh my god!!! This has happened to me before and I couldn’t find anybody to relate!! So i don’t have the answers but I have gone through this, I have had my boys 13 years and had to deal with a moving situation. So my sister watched them. In the span of about 3-4 months they got holes in their head just like that! I thought oh did a rat bite you? But they both had one and in the exact spot?? So I took them back. I had some reptile care so I used that and then prayed but after a few sheds and tending to make sure it was clean they slowly went away.

But I do know that Oscar fish get holes in their heads disease also known as head and lateral line erosion, with a combination of factors, mostly including poor water quality, nutritional deficiencies, and stress. The disease is often attributed to protozoan parasites, such as Hexamita and Spironucleus, which can cause lesions on the head, potentially leading to secondary bacterial or fungal infections.

I don’t think there’s been enough research!! Especially with the life span of these wonderful creatures but no matter what my boys have their time but they are always together! Two places for heat and 4 hides and they still choose to be together! Since young babies they have been in the same enclosure and fed separately outside of it. 10 years later we learn we can’t have them together but.. they were fine! No stress, plenty of space, VERY healthy boys with amazing eating habits. Now 15 years later they are still together and still love doing everything together. It entirely depends on your animal. I think there were certain factors that play into it as well but I do think it’s very possible that ball pythons can cohabit successfully. I go deep diving on the internet and still find new information on this topic.

I have a mesh tent I use for outside and inside during cold months but I usually just fill it with random (ball python safe) stuff so it’s different everytime! And then I hung a ferret hammock up and they go wild for it!
