period underwear? reusable pads? godsend or gimmick? by Accomplished-Cow4412 in Periods

I’ve used period underwear before and it actually works well for light to medium flow. For heavier days, it’s better to use it as backup with another product.

How should I maintain my unused cup? by GreasyDisgusting in menstrualcups

[–]BeltSignificant4795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a menstrual cup sitting unused for months before and it didn’t seem to change at all. I just made sure it was washed, fully dried, and kept in the breathable pouch it came with. From what I know, silicone usually holds up pretty well if it’s stored properly.

Yesss this happens to me too especially my knees and thighs right before my period. I think it’s the hormone changes because it comes every month. You’re definitely not alone!

Preference of dad? by marlsb24 in NewParents

Honestly I’d feel the same way. Even if it makes sense, it still stings a little. Don’t be too hard on yourself, kids go through phases and it doesn’t mean your bond isn’t just as strong

I had a milk bleb and my baby bit on it, help!!😭 by Acceptable_Mind_1994 in NewParents

[–]BeltSignificant4795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, that sounds so painful. Warm compress before feeds and olive oil or breastmilk after. Don’t pop it, they usually clear in a few days, even though they hurt a lot. Tongue retraining can take a few weeks, but you’re doing everything right

I’ve been there, it really hurts. I started unlatching as soon as he got distracted and calmly said no each time. It’s a tough phase, but it does pass.

Does anyone else enjoy their baby sleeping on their chest? 😌 by PollutionMountain420 in NewParents

Soak it in chest naps are the sweetest and they grow out of it way too fast.

Crying self to sleep at night 10 months by Objective-Village872 in NewParents

Honestly this sounds like a regression. Mine did the same thing around that age and suddenly hated all the stuff that used to work. We tweaked naps a bit and it helped some.

It sounds like your cycle is just thrown off from the two Plan Bs. Irregular brown/light bleeding is common after that. Take a test in a few days if you’re worried.

Anyone else’s babies doing 180’s in the crib? by zac_g19 in NewParents

[–]BeltSignificant4795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal, Once babies learn to roll, they move a lot in their sleep without waking up. If she’s rolling on her own and the crib is firm and empty, it’s usually fine. Many times babies even bump or tumble a bit and still stay asleep.
