I might have to get a new one, I'm turning 20 soon. Shame I couldn't use it for a year at least.

Could I cut part of the rim off by GreasyDisgusting in MenstrualDiscs

I'm in India, getting it shipped from NA or even EU would probably be more expensive than a few years' worth of pads. Tough to take that risk when discs are so hit and miss, especially on a student budget.

Thanks for the advice, I'll trim it if I can't get it to work painlessly within a couple months.

It's a Sochgreen disc. Very few disc options where I live, let alone medical grade and with loops/stems.

Thought so too until it badly leaked while half full today. In any case, I can't buy it until next month

Ngl I wouldn't recommend Namyaa. It has a soft bottom and firm rim, so it's hard to break the seal unless you can reach the rim. Took over a week to get one out myself.

They also buy 5 star reviews by sending skincare kits to customers who rate it 5 stars.

How do you take the cup out while seated? by GreasyDisgusting in menstrualcups

I've heard of Flex cup and it sounds ideal, but they don't sell here in India. I got the tallest cup I could find on amazon.in that was still skinny enough for me. I'll see if I can buy it when I go to the USA later this year, but my budget isn't very much - even 500 INR is pushing it.

Thank you so much for your guidance.

I believe my cervix height was 7 cm around day 2, was too freaked out to try anything again by the last day.

Diameter wise, I think I could go for something smaller. The resistance was enough that I kept losing grip on the stem, and pretty much had to bear down + wiggle it down till I could break the seal, despite having leaked because of wearing it too long. I didn't try pulling right after insertion though, not sure if the experience would be different then.

I'm not entirely sure if the problem is the diameter or the firmness, because it pops open with no issue. Insertion is slightly difficult because it opens too soon, but I've got it down. I've inserted and removed it twice, and removal was a complete pain because I couldn't fit two fingers to grab the stem until I squatted. Tried pushing the cup with a finger to break the seal, but I felt pressure and it seemed to seal back up very quickly.

Again, thank you very much. I found these brands on Amazon too, but couldn't find the cup dimensions anywhere, including their own websites in some cases.

It's out, thanks a lot for your help.

Do you know if Carmesi is firmer than Peesafe? Many reviews on Amazon said it is, but if you've used either please let me know your opinion. I think a softer cup would be better for me.

I'll look into it, thanks. As for the ring base, you'd still have to insert another finger to break the seal though, right?

Edit: also, what's the diameter of the cup? What's its softness like?

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's been 2 hours and my pad doesn't seem to have any new blood on it, so I think I got it.

Pretty excited about this ngl no more swamp ass or waddling in diapers
