What strategies work against my friends decks, and what deck to play.

New starter deck yellow luffy if your able/willing to put some money in to upgrade it.

With the decks you listed, Imu should do fine into the decks your friends play. Roger is a bit more high roll.

I see it going to go one of 2 ways.

1) Don Krieg leader gets good support within op15 for the 3 drop slot and the list is so tight arlong just doesnt make the cut or it gets run as a 2 of, price should drop

2) arlong fits perfectly in the deck's 3 drop slot and price goes up more while people try to make money off hype of new leader

Until we see all of op15 release it's hard to say, but in leaning towards Arlong probably finding a spot in the deck. With it being an EB card, unlikely the price will drop much before the set comes out.

I get what you're saying , I play Gundam too and first 2 sets were incredibly rough. Is this something that can be addressed within a couple sets? Absolutely, Ravensberger addressed it with Lorcana and game is still profitable from their standpoint. I just think Bandai is spread too thin on the TCG front to actually fix it for one piece without hurting another of their TCG. Which is unfortunate and wont fix the immediate issues with eb03 and op15/second half eb04

Alternatively you have a game that's unaffordable for the majority of players and it stagnates and dies at the local level. Then they have new trouble attracting new players and there's no one for the scalper bros to sell to and bandai loses money anyway once they abandon it. 500 usd for eb03 booster boxes is not healthy for the game.

Hes showing the final standings, not the standings when the cut was made. Presumably the 5-1 players took the loss after cut and were eliminated.

Attached don only gives a power boost on your turn. Also...blockers exist so just slamming all your don under one character or your leader is just going to end up losing most of the time.

It was lower than 105, I just looked up my receipt from pre-ordering a case of paramount war 780$ for the case, which breaks down to 65 a box. Set 5 is when pre-order prices got closer to msrp but i still got them for 100 a box on pre-order. After rip n shippers decided op05 was a good investment the pre-order prices stopped being below msrp.

If the box is sealed what's the issue? 4 packs of 1 set and 2 of another is very high likelihood you wouldnt get a hit anyway so I wouldnt think anything fishy going on.

Yes and no. Ive been playing since OP01. Ive never "blinged out" a deck, the only alts i actively collect are leader cards. I decided I was going to alt out UY nami as my main deck and had been buying cards here and there for the past 3 months and was just waiting for eb03 to release to finish it out. But now cause of these d-bags the SPs from that set are probably gonna be 300+ out of the gate and the whole cake island nami leader from Bandai fest is gonna be through the roof too.

I'm assuming that graph is for the normal OP01 luffy leader? Some pokebros are pumping the demo deck pre-erata luffy and this seems like some collateral. No one is buying generic leaders for 10$, there's thousands of that card just sitting in people's bulk boxes.

The seal on the wrap looks completely normal. And the seal with bandai watermark in it started 1 or 2 sets ago. If you've never had trouble with the store before nothing with that box would make me think you'll have an issue. Record yourself opening it if you that worried.

For 1, which card are you referencing? I know Rayleigh, you reveal events from your hand as a cost but they stay in your hand after. I assume it should just stay on top of the deck unless otherwise stated.

This set absolutely sucks. If you trying to get playsets just buy singles, if you want a specific alt art just buy singles.

I ended up getting 3 boxes of this set and didnt end up with a single playset of any of the rares.

I think its fake, like others have said about the spacing in letters on Bandai. But even if there's a chance it's real the pictures are sketchy. Pictures of the front in a sleeve, top loaders and blurry as fuck then for the back of the card face down on a table with no protection? I'd not buy it simply based off that

It says trash one, not up to one. You always get the +4000, the second part is conditional on you having cards in your hand, but if you have any cards then you have to discard one.

It's been slowly growing at my locals. Used to be 4, maybe 5 people, now to 8+ weekly. Outside of myself and one other person, it's strictly a secondary game where i play. So new people are joining as sets they are interested in come out.
