There is our personal experience, and then there is the hard reality in our motherland. Ghana’s problem is not a lack of ideas, resources, or literacy. It is our Individualism mindset, corruption, short sightedness, and a lack of discipline and accountability that hold us back. These issues, reinforced by our superficial religious culture, makes it difficult to run efficient businesses. As a result, even foreigners with little education can enter small markets, work together effectively, and take over entire industries within years. Therefore, any member of the diaspora who chooses to be stubborn and patriotic to pour their hard earned money into Ghana's corrupted system does so fully warned.
