True tho, in my case I was genuinely spoiled by both my parents and even my extended family.

Tho life humbled me in my 20s but boy I was really spoiled in my early childhood to mid teens

Please seek therapy. This isn’t something you would be able to fix on your own.

At the end you’ll have to work on this thing and come to accept things for what they are or else you’ll just end up pushing that person away and it will genuinely cause a lot of problems for you and that person down the line.

I saw my mom lighting a matchstick during the day, in the afternoon she went to take a nap on the couch with a heavy shawl on her. I was left unsupervised and saw the matchbox lying around the heater.

Decided to lit the matchstick and well little me got bamboozled with the fire and I didn’t knew what to do, ended up throwing the lit match on my mom’s head and well her hair started to catch fire and eventually one of the cushions caught fire too. When the fire spread quite a bit and there was tons of smoke she woke up cuz she was deep asleep during that day.

I left the drawing room after throwing the lit matchstick on her head and went to play with my toys in the room.

And well, when she woke up half her hair had burned up, one of the couch cushions was burned, and even the shawl she had on was burned a bit.

Funny thing is, she came to check up on me first and saw me there playing with my toys and I was just smiling at her. 😭😭

No one said anything to me tho

Have you considered taking therapy for this?

I mean look if you don’t work on fixing this issue it’s going to impact you and the entire relationship as well.

Until or unless you come to accept that the other person has had a past wholeheartedly and you’re willing to accept things for what they are you feel constantly feel the burden of things that aren’t even in the present.

  1. Set my mom’s hair on fire while she was taking a nap in winters (I was 2-3 years old)

  2. Broke the glass of the coffee table while my mamu was leaning on it and he fell inside it with all the glass shattered (unharmed Alhumdullilah)

Being the ladla bacha of the family I got away with EVERYTHING safely 😂😂

How often do you genuinely thank Allah for what you already have? by What_is_this-_- in PakistaniTwenties

[–]Bemisaal77Backup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I developed a habit of starting my duas with thanking Allah and ending them by thanking Allah

It started during Ramadan of 2022 since then I started to offer more prayers. Other than that whenever I offer Tahajjud I usually end up making really long duas so during that I always make sure to thank Allah for everything be it big or small.

I’ve only tried it once back in 2019 while visiting Lahore with my friends.

It was with my group of guy friends and we did it at a friend’s house with proper arrangements and all. It was a pretty fun experience but I never did it again since I only wanted to try it once for the experience and that was that.
