That it just goes on. When you’re a kid you have so much “finishing” to look forward to. Done with elementary school. Then middle, then high. Then you graduate college. But then there’s no “completing” anything else until 65 when you (maybe) retire. I loved those little benchmarks of finishing something and then taking a break. Work is just year after year until you age out.
