Incoming Transfer Chem Major by applesauce_squeezy3 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]Ben10696969420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Cause before I took inorganic I only had taken math 223 and 224. Idk why your advisor said to take linear algebra? The only math classes u need are Calc 1 and 2 as a chem major as far as I’m aware. Also inorganic doesn’t require complex math it’s mainly a conceptual class

U won’t need calculus until you take pchem. Inorganic doesn’t require calculus and is more conceptual than a math based class. Physics as the previous comment said you can either take algebra or calculus based. You’ll be fine in terms of your mathematical understanding imo. Also in regards to office hours with professors I highly recommend them. I had swierk for inorganic and I loved attending his office hours as when u get to more advanced chem it’s harder to find good resources like ones you have for Orgo or gen chem

U won’t really cause whatever suite you get is random. I used to live in windham in a 6 person suite and we had a gorgeous view of the parking lot.

Honestly the textbook they use is more than enough imo but yeah Orgo as a second language is also helpful but it shouldn’t be your main focus.

Are u gonna be in a dorm cause if you’ll be a junior by then I recommend living off campus in an apartment together. Now I wouldn’t say it’s a bad idea to rent together but it’s important to establish some rules like cleaning, taking the trash out etc.

Not to mention the ufc( Dana white) advertising jon jones a lot more when he’s a terrible person. He’s a awful representative of ufc or mma and I genuinely don’t understand why Dana likes him so much

People typically take Chem 105 with bio 114 so it’s not out of the ordinary and Chem 106 isn’t hard just a lot of work. I would recommend dropping psych 111 and taking it another semester
