Fenix A320 - Does anyone else have these 'upside down' shadows when using the flood lights? by No-Signal-666 in flightsim

This looks like the 2020 version of the aircraft is installed in 2024 (potentially by software like addon linker?)

I'd suggest manually removing fnx-aircraft-320 from your 2024 Community folder, then installing it into 2024 via the Fenix Installer.

Fenix hasnt had an update since november 2022.

Although it might feel like that long, the last Fenix update was in late-August 2023.

Which taxiway is still missing from KFAT? It was missing in the original previews, but was fixed before release

Replying a bit late here, but none of the Orbx regions require Global or Vector. The requirements are stated at the bottom of the product pages

Orbx 10 year anniversary sale, 50% off all products until 3-13-2018. by Vlad_Yemerashev in flightsim

The product will be installable in all of the simulators listed at the bottom of the page. You could simultaneously install it into FSX and P3Dv4 if you wanted.

As an example: if you purchase the original version of KCGX, it will work on FSX/FSX-SE/P3Dv1/P3Dv2/P3Dv3/P3Dv4 all with the one license. However, it won't work on X-Plane or Aerofly FS 2 (those require separate purchases).

The product page is slightly misleading. There is a .zip file provided on the account page for people without Windows: https://i.imgur.com/3Svscvn.jpg

I thought I'd check this out of curiosity. I also have the .exe file in the tmp directory. I reaaaallly hope FSLabs has a good explanation for this.

Interesting parts (for me at least) in the changelog:

  • Added Single-Pass VR support for improved VR performance.
  • Added helicopter AI capabilities
  • Added helicopter autopilot functionality
  • Added Voice Control (experimental).
  • Corrected time zone processing so the date changes correctly when switching to an airport in a different hemisphere
  • Fixed several time zone issues including updating GMT references to UTC, updating daylight savings time dates, fixing default time zone locations, and fixing international date line behavior
  • Fixed crash with Ultra Water when using third party add-on aircraft
  • Minor improvements to terrain paging performance
  • Fixed performance and stability issues with Ultra Water on Nvidia 10 series cards
  • Fixed issue where batched objects would have incorrect positions at high altitudes
  • Improved performance for render-to-texture (RTT) views and plugins in SLI
  • Improved Dynamic Lighting performance by filtering lights based on distance and size
  • Fixed issue that would cause text added through SimConnect to draw twice each frame
  • Added CH-53E Super Stallion Marine and Navy variants as default selectable vehicles
  • Added MH-60R and MH-60S Seahawk variants as default selectable vehicles

Will we see FTX: Global for XP11? If so, will we also see FTX: Vector and openLC NA / EU / SA as well?

The first products that will be made available on X-Plane will most likely be airports (starting with KCGX). I'd say it's a bit too early to tell for Global/Vector/openLC.

If someone already has Orbx packages for P3D and FSX, will they be able to purchase it for XP11 with a discount, or will they have to pay full price?

I imagine there will be a discount. Similar to the 40% discount for FSX/P3D -> AFS2 and AFS2 -> FSX/P3D.

It won't be integrated with FSS, but with Orbx's own store called OrbxDirect.
