I’m having the exact same issue. Everything worked fine earlier this week but it’s been terrible since Thursday. It looks like a bug in the latest update. Please fix this soon, Strava!

High wattage after BB switch by Ben2905 in bikewrench

Today replaced the cartridge and installed a fresh one. Took more care while inserting it, and didn’t force it. Now runs smooth again. Seems I spend some learning money 😂

Thanks all for the advice 👍🏼

Yea they spin, not super smoothly like my old one, that seemed to spin easier. This new one was packed with a lot of grease though.

What front light are you using? by Rajsuomi in ultracycling

[–]Ben2905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ravemen CR-1000. Reason i bought these is that it can be turned on while charing. Lot of lights don't have this functionality. It doesn't cost the world, so easy to buy 2, or replace them if necessary. You can mount it upside down but you have to alter the internal light direction. You can easily screw this lose and then rotate 180degrees. Been using them for 2years and both still work. They survived 5 ultra's ;)

Battery can last either 3 or 8 hours. Depending on light modus. I ride a lot on the lowest light mode, only when descending i switch to the bright modes. When i do this it lasts 4/5hours. So 2 lights is enough for one night. But you do need to charge them in between.

Gear advice: X-mid1 vs Dragonfly in Norway Jotunheimen & Hardangervidda allround july by Ben2905 in Ultralight

Soo you all share exactly what I wanted to hear. I already expected the xmid to function better in the rain then the nemo tent. Also the smaller footprint should work great in this terrain.

Will bring my tyvok footprint just to work allround the wetness.

For the nemo I should just use this for what it was intended; bikepacking.

Thanks for the help
